Tyler
I honestly don't know where I am going. This park is huge. I'm pretty sure the map in front of me doesn't help.
The drive to here was silent. Maybe because there wasn't really anything to talk about. Alec seemed to be occupied with his music while driving here. So I was staring at cars and palm trees the whole ride.
He told me that he was going to the gym, and he wouldn't be able to pick me up until 5 in the evening. It's almost 12. Did he really work out that long? I honestly don't think so. He probably has something else after the gym.
I blew out a breath and looked around. I probably should call Dean for his whereabouts. I grab my phone from my crossbody bag and searched for his phone number. I pressed my phone on my cheek and it starts ringing.
People were staring at me as they passed by me. As if they were never lost before... Hypocrites. I scratch my forehead after the fourth ring and he finally picked up.
"Hello?"
"Yeah, hi. Where are you?" I ask him, turning around.
"Mm, I'm at the food court." he answers.
I scoff, "Like I'm going to find where that is, Dean."
He scoffs too. "Look at the map."
I roll my eyes and turned back around, looking at the map. When I was sure where I am suppose to go, I hung up. I started walking through the plaza.
This place is so huge. And it was filled with departments of clothing and food places. The design throughout the buildings were abstract-- everything seemed out of place, but it all worked out well. I passed a clock pole and made a left. There I spotted the food court. I start walking towards it and I noticed Dean right away.
He was sitting by himself, on his phone, minding his own business. He probably won't be mindin' his own business until I get over there. If he was all up in my stuff over the phone, I can't imagine what he's like in person.
I made my way towards his table and I tapped on it to get his attention. He looks up, and blue met on blue. We both smile and I took a seat across from him.
"What's up, Tyler?" he beamed, slipping his phone in his front pocket.
I place my arms on the table. "Nothing much."
He nods his head and leans on the edge of his seat. "Good. So... about the computer..."
I smirk at him. I know where he was getting at this. "You didn't fix it..."
He squinted one eye and looked up; his lips were in a straight line. He looked like he was thinking.
"Eh, not exactly." he answers, bobbing up his head up and down.
I raise one eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
He sucks in air between his teeth and looked away. I frown at him.
"I... Well... It wasn't like I didn't fix it," he starts, and he emphasizes didn't, "it was just that I... couldn't fix it."
I made on "oh" and made a bubble in my mouth. He nods his head, scratching his stubble.
