Tyler

I sigh as I put on the last glowstick on Alec's surfboard. I cracked it and shook it, making it glow. I reach out and put it in the last space, bending it a little bit. I sigh and leaned back against him. The night sky had come over us; there was a sky full of stars shining down on us. I smile sweetly as I felt him wrap his arms around me and kiss my temple.

The border of the surfboard was glowing neon green, and it illuminated my legs dimly. Ethan was almost done with his as well. He groans as he grabs his second to last glowstick and looks at us, an annoyed look played on his face. We chuckle at him.

"Having fun there, Ethan?" Alec chuckles, putting his chin on my other shoulder.

"You guys are a**holes. You really are," he insults us, looking back at the glowstick and cracking it.

I giggle and Alec placed a kiss on my shoulder.

"You guys better wait for me when this all dries up," Ethan tells us, putting superglue on the glowstick.

Alec blows a laugh onto my shoulder, "We will, buddy. Don't worry."

A volleyball hits Alec and I. I growl as I turn my head at where it came from. Alec lifts his arm to rub his head, and I grab the volleyball. Quinn runs close to us, laughing.

"I'm sorry, guys. We didn't mean to hit you guys," he frowns and tilts his head, "Hey, how about you two join us for some glow volleyball?"

I turn my head, interested in joining in the game. Alec gave me a questioning look, and I nodded. He shrugs and looks up at Quinn.

"Alright,"

"Sweet! Hey guys...!" he turns around and runs back to the court.

Alec and I got up. I wipe away the sand from my bottom, and he takes the volleyball from my hand. I quietly gasp at him and he stuck his tongue at me. I put a hand over my heart. Hey! I do that! That's my thing! He started to run towards the people who were playing volleyball.

I shook my head and looked down at Ethan. He was shaking his head and he cracked his last glowstick. I smile at his cuteness and pat his head.

"See you soon, Ethan." I say, then started to run towards the volleyball players.

Everyone seemed to be talking about captains. I stop next to Alec, and he hit the ball over the net. Quinn catches it, and blows the whistle. Everyone stops talking and faces him. Alec, me, and other players walk to the net.

"Alright, new game is starting!" he announces, bouncing the ball. He eyes everyone, "Team captains are McKenzie and Harris! It's an equal amount of players, so stay on the side that you are on!"

A girl walks over to our side, pulling the net over her head. She gives Alec and grin and she waves at him.

"Hi, Alec." she says, eyeing him.

I felt like punching her.

"Hey, Kenzie." he smiles, waving back.

"What if I want to the girl next to Alec?" a guy announces, probably Harris.

Kenzie gasps, "What if I want Drake?"

Quinn blows his whistle, "Quiet you two! Damn... Okay, Tyler and Drake-- switch!"

A guy without a shirt starts walking over. I look at Alec, panicking. He gives me a reassuring smile and kisses my forehead.

"You'll do great, precious," he whispers, grinning at me.
