Unsurprisingly, I was murdered for the amount I drank.

Well, at first I wasn't. Instead of Steven bringing me home, Levi decided to bring me home with Alejandro and Theo. He was the only one that didn't drink, which the two boys expected, so he was their driver.

Levi somehow managed to convince Mom that although I was drinking, he made sure I was safe and didn't take more than five cups of alcohol, despite the fact I drank almost a whole bottle of vodka in less than thirty minutes, on top of what I drank at the party. His sweet mannerisms and soft voice helped to ease the brewing anger inside of Mom.

After he went home, I got an earful from her. She said I'm never allowed to go to another party again, but that she's also grateful that he was there to limit the amount I drank. I never told her about what Noah did. She would've eaten me alive if I said I punched the principal's son.

Nevaeh was also right; Noah complained to pretty much everyone in our year about how the frenchie assaulted him, leaving out the part where he inappropriately touched Davina and I. He told everyone I started an argument with him and decided to hit him.

The lie wasn't believable since a few people saw the full thing, so the truth was spread around the school. It never got to the principal. Noah ensured it wouldn't since he told his father that he was having a sleepover with his friend and not getting drunk and harassing girls.

The weirdest outcome of this whole situation is Levi. Yesterday, he avoided looking at me the full day. I tried to talk to him during lunch, but he would just give me curt answers and kept his eyes off me, his cheeks turning pinker than usual. I don't understand why, but it made my heart clench a bit. It shouldn't have affected me so much, especially since he's just a friend.

I close the door of my house, putting my headphones over my ears. Today is the first cheer practice of the year, and I'm kind of dreading it. I was given my uniform yesterday, which consisted of a red and white crop top and skirt, the letters LHS in white, bordered with red which was bordered again with white. The skirt is short on me due to my long legs. Thankfully, there's built in shorts so no one can see my ass.

As well as my cheer uniform in my school bag, there's also leggings and a crop top for PE. The two being on the same day is horrible.

I walk out of my driveway, lighting a cigarette once my house is out of sight. Bringing it to my lips, I take a hit, blowing out the smoke from my nose. I'm about to take another hit when a figure suddenly appears beside me, the footsteps only registering in my mind when they stop near me. I turn to my right, slightly jumping from the suddenness. What the fuck is Levi doing here?

"Merde," I breathe out, placing a hand on my chest. My face twists into a frown as I look up at the brown eyes I've grown accustomed to, my hand spilling my headphones off my head. "What are you doing here?"

His cheeks are pink, his hands fiddling with his rings as he walks slowly beside me. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I decided to walk today."

"Why?"
