CHAPTER 24

THIRD PERSON POV:




        “Breaking News! The Gomez household got raid by some unknown people who’s wearing a mask and has a three triangle form white dot in the middle of the mask. People in the said village went panic when they heard a multiple gunshots came from the Gomez house, the residence finally got rescue when  another group of men went inside as if they got a permission to enter the said house.


   "We have here Mrs. Kim who saw the arrival of those group of man, so Mrs. Kim? Did you saw the plate number of their vehicle? Or saw someone familiar even they wear a mask?” 



        “No, they don’t have any plate number at all, I’m just hoping na maging okay si Caramel. Mukhang nagka alitan sila ng pamilya niya bago mangyari ang insidente, kaya nag aalala ako para sa kaniya.” She added.






          Leonox clinch his fist as he drove fast as he could to search where Caramel got admit. Ilamg oras na din siyang palibot–libot sa parehong lugar at wala parin siyang Caramel na mahanap.





      “Make sure na walang trace kayong naiwan.” A young man said.





     “Yes, young master. Saan po ba namin ipapasok si Ms. Caramel?” A butler who hold Caramel’s unconcious asked.




    “Near my room, make sure na hindi mo siya magigising. Send the doctor’s in right away, and be mindful that it’s FEMALE DOCTOR’S  only.” Madiin nitong sabi sa kasarian ng doctor na papapasokin.




      “Yes, young master.” Sagot ng butler at agad na umakyat pataas upang ihatid si Caramel sa nasabing kwarto.



    Its been a hard month for him not seeing the woman she likes, lalo pang gumuho ang mundo niya nang malaman na sinagot nito si Cirus. Akala niya ay may pag asa pa siyang umamin sa dalaga, akala niya ay may nararamdaman din ang dalaga para sa kaniya, akala niya ay pipiliin din siya nito.

‘It’s been forever Caramel, pwede bang ako nalang? Pwede bang ako nalang muna pansamantala? We can escape from your cruel world anytime if you choose me. Kahit ngayon lang...' Mahinang bulong ng binata saka lumabas at tinungo ang puno kung saan payapa siyang makakapag isip.




    Halos boung mundo ay nabulabog sa balita at ang mysteriousong pagkawala ng dalaga sa loob ng bahay, FBI tried their best to find a trace to take Caramel back. Even the Tomford family are all awake just to find Caramel but they find no one. Walang Caramel ang nakikita kaya naisip nila ang posibleng rason kung bakit nawala si Caramel.






    “Hello, cous, nakita mo na ba?” Cirus asked Leonox who just drove off from the hospital that he saw nearby.

    “Walang record, paki check lahat ng airlines at terminal for bus, van, and station for train upang mahanap mahanap natin kung nasaan siya. They might be take her far away.” Utos ni Leonox.

   “Okay cous, thank you so much. I’ll get going para makauwi agad.” He hang up the phone and continue to search Caramel.

    Iniwan na ni Leonox si Bianca sa may bus stop nang malaman niya ang nangyari sa bahay nila Caramel, pumunta muna siya sa bahay nito ngunit wala na siyang na datnan kundi ang duguang sahig at bukas na maliit na kwarto na nasa ilalim ng hagdanan. He tried to go up stairs bago siya mag panic upang i-check kung nandoon ba si Caramel, when he didn’t sense her presence ay agad na niyang tinawagan ang pamilya niya upang ipaalam na nawawala ang dalaga.






    In the Tomford’s estate all of them went wild when they heard the news. Mabilis silang nagsi alisan at tinungo ang nasabing hospital kung nasaan ang Gomez Family naka confine.




      “Kamusta ang lagay ng mag asawa doc?” Mrs. Tomford ask the Doctor who just came out from the emergency room.




    “Kaano–ano kayo ng Gomez Family?” The doctor asked.



   “Friends.” Sagot niya.


    The Doctor take a deep breathe bago magsalita.



  “Mr.  Harold Kit Gomez, 45 yeard old, August 12, 10:53 PM. Time of death, he receive 15 bullets plus three in the head in total of 18. The bullet’s has a poison that also take his life right away.” The Doctor explained.



   The Tomford family was shocked to hear the news at parang  isang malaking bato ang sumira sa matuwid na tayo ng isang malaking gusali. Raven and Sarah Tomford lost a bestfriend in just a click.



“No, no, no, no... Raven, do something!” Tuluyan nang umiyak si Sarah at napaluhod nalang ito sa sahig.



She can’t believe that they lost the only friend they have.



“And for Gane Gomez, she’s fine together with her three son’s. Ginagamot lang ang natamo nilang sugat, excuse me.” The doctor added and left the place.






     He remove his mask and go straight to the said location to report to his team, tinawagan naman niya ang mga miyembro ng groupo upang mag handa ito sa maaring dumating na trahedya.







     “Ano ang balita?” A man across the table asked him while drinking the alcohol.



   “Harold Kit Gomez, 10:53 PM.” He answered and pour some alcohol on the wine glass and drink it like a water.




     “Well, nakakagulat ang ginawa ng Sivilla. Caramel should know everything. Napaka bata pa niya tapos ganiyan ang nangyari.” Sabi naman ng isa pang lalaki na kasalo nila sa mesa.



“She sure suffered a lot, the world knew about the missing kid pero tumahimik nalang sila dahil kapamilya naman nila ito. Siguro kung gano’n ang nangyari sa amin ng asawa ko? I rather be a criminal than letting my family went miserable just because of wealth.” Seryosong saad niya at patuloy sa pag salin ng inomin sa baso niya.





   “Well, I’ll do everything I could ma protektahan ko lang si Caramel. Para ko na ring anak ang turing ko sa kaniya eh, kaya mahirap na makita siyang nahihirapan dahil sa problema niya.” He added and lay his back to the couch to relax his exhausted body a bit.





      Naalala niya ang mga impormasyon na ibinigay ni Caramel sa kaniya, kaya inilabas niya ito at tinawagan ang team nila Agnes to make a plan from a to z. Seems like any time soon the whole world up their in business culture will shut because of this issue.





      “I need your hands guys, asap. Kailangan natin itiong matapos bago pa dumating ang kaarawan ni Caramel.” Taranta niyang tinungo ang loob ng basement upang gawin na ang mga binilin ni Caramel bago ito sumama sa kakilala niya.


  

   Walang may nakaka alam kung sino ang taong sinamahan ni Caramel dahil kapos na sa oras kung mag papaliwanag pa si Caramel.






     “She’s fine, stress lang siya dahil marami ang iniisip.” The doctor finally came out from Caramel’s room.



   “Gising na ba siya?” The guy looks afraid about Caramel’s health.




   “She is. Kanina ka pa niya hinihintay, I’ll get going.” Sagot ng doctor sabay paalam nito.




“Sure, thank you so much for treating her.” He answered at pumasok na sa silid kung nasaan si Caramel.

   “I didn’t ask you to come. Paano kung nadamay ka?” Bungad ni Caramel sa kaniya habang pinipilit nito na umupo.


Agad naman niya itong inalalayan upang hindi ito mabinat agad.

  “I don’t care. I will save you even it cause me pain, or the end of me. I will choose to save you, Caramel.” He honestly said with his heart out.




“Pierce, don’t do that.” Caramel want him to stop kssi hindi niya mabibigay pabalik ang pagmamahal na binibigay nito sa kaniya.

   Pierce really became a grown man in just a month and become the next chairman in his family’s comapany. His hair became blonde, his face looks form into something, and his body became more masculine.



   “You can’t force me to unlove you, right?” Mapait itong ngumiti sa kaniya na siyang ikinagulat ni Caramel.

“You must be joking  Pierce, you should stop that. Hindi na tayo highschool.” Pilit na nagpakawala ng pekeng tawa si Caramel dahil sa akalang nagbibiro lang si Pierce sa kaniya.




“I’m serious when it comes to you. Everything is urgent because its you.” Seryosong tinignan ni Pierce sa mata si Caramel.


    And his vision became blur and he felt water went flowing down on Caramel’s hand that he always hold on to.

“Dahil ba kay Leonox? Kung hindi mo ba siya nakilala, mamahalin mo din ba ako?” He comtinue and tears won’t stop and he found himself finally break down while crying in front of the girl he deeply like.



    “I’m sorry... Pierce, I didn’t mean to hurt you. Forgive me.” Hinaplos ni Caramel ang pisngi ni Pierce na patuloy parin sa pag iyak.


  She let him cry while holding her hands, because she can’t give the same feelings as Pierce give.



    Napaupo nalang si Pierce sa tabi ni Caramel while Caramel kept on comforting her.

   “Will you allow me to love you continuously?” Basag ni Pierce sa katahimikan.

“You can, until your love fades...” Caramel’s voice went cracked and she just smile showing that she’s alright.




“Thank you, you can rest now. Dito lang ako pag mamasdan kita hangang sa makatulog ka na.” Presenta ni Pierce kaya sumunod naman itong si Caramel at humiga pabalik.






‘Maybe in parallel world, I will choose to love you back so cupid won’t hurt me that much as what I’m feeling right now. I’m sorry, Pierce.’
