Xelqua was paralyzed at seeing Mirinn, it never crossed his mind that it could be him that sent the notes to him. He didn't know how to react if he should listen, or if he should attack. After all, he was even more certain, seeing how much Mirinn seemed to know, that he was indeed involved. A smirk grew across Mirinn's face as he looked at Xelqua just standing there. "If it isn't Xelqua, blow out anyone else's eyes lately?" he said.

Xelqua didn't know what to say, he didn't think he could say anything. The smirk on Mirinn's face grew even larger, "Cat got your tongue, or have you just become even weaker since last time? Too busy being friends with admins and players?" He said as he walked past Xelqua, brushing his fingers, which seemed to have a soft purple glow coming from them, on Xelqua's shoulder

Words finally made their way through Xelqua's lips, "Why did you bring me here?"

"Am I not allowed to want to see an old friend?" Mirinn replied

In response, Xelqua's face twisted into an expression between confused, scared and annoyed and Mirinn picked up on it and replied, "If I'm being honest I just wanted to see your face again. Well, I wanted to see your face when I tell you exactly how I am and have ruined your life,"
"What do you mean?" Xelqua asked, taking a slightly more defensive stance.

"I have been up to a lot since the last time we saw each other. So I just wanted to catch you up on how I had a hand in everything that happened. Just stay there and listen," Mirinn said, smiling.

"I'm not going to just stand here and listen after you just admitted that you played a part in the attacks," Xelqua said, shifting the position of his feet.

"And what are you going to do about it?" Mirinn said, his expression turning even more playful.

"I'm going to-" Xelqua started as he tried to draw out this magic.
Nothing was coming out, his magic just wasn't working. He could still feel it inside of him but he couldn't bring any of it out. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fly either, he could feel the difference in his wings. He had no idea how he did this so he turned towards the now laughing watcher and asked him, "What did you do?"

"It was a spell given to me by some of my friends, the ones who have been causing everything to happen. So Xelqua since you can't go anywhere let's talk," Mirinn replied, smiling ear to ear.

The atmosphere was tense, and Xelqua was stuck in a precarious position, he was at Mirinn's mercy, he couldn't even summon a sword or anything else to defend himself. One wrong move and Mirinn could react, killing him fast and with little to no issues. Xelqua didn't want to be here, nor listen to what Mirinn had to say but he didn't have much choice. If he was stuck here he should try and stay safe while trying to get information out of Mirinn, and he sounded like he would be giving it to him anyways. "Okay then Mirinn, tell me just what happened since we last saw each other," Xelqua said, looking Mirinn straight in the eyes.

Mirinn then started speaking, "It's not like you had much choice anyways. It started after you destroyed my eye, no spell that I knew could fix it. The spell hit my eye directly and corrupted it, and it started to spread across my face, as you can see. At least I knew a spell that could get rid of my eye altogether so at least the corruption stopped. I had to adjust to no longer being able to see as much as I used to, that's how I found out about how losing an eye makes one's watcher vision faulty, unlike if you just lose your normal vision instead. I went back to the academy not long after that, I needed someplace to stay and I assumed that all of you traitors would go back to the so-called paradise. Though you probably knew that since you found my journal. Yes, I knew you had it, I left it there just for you. So you knew that I wasn't gone and that I had done something. I was stuck for a while, I didn't know what to do, after all, everything I had ever known had just been ripped from me. I went to the library, I wanted to find something that could help me figure out how to do something to get everything back to the way it was meant to be. I searched through every single goddamn book and nothing. Nothing could help me, no one seemed to ever think that someone would go against them as the High Leader did. Then I looked at the first-ever class photo, after all, I knew that I had an ancestor that went to the academy back when it started called Xynis Syrucus, she was one of the most powerful, not surprising after all she was my ancestor,"

Xelqua remembered looking at the photo of the first-ever class, it wasn't that long ago after all. He never realised that someone that Mirinn was related to was also in the picture, though he did remember the name so maybe his subconscious saw it. If he was being honest he had forgotten about the picture after everything that was happening. Mirinn then continued, "I saw that you had an ancestor in the first class that was holding hands with the ⨅ᒷꖎ╎⎓ᒷ ̇/, so I'm not surprised that you were a traitor if you great whatever was so close with one. Well, my ancestor I learnt became the headmaster of the school not long after they graduated so I decided to check the office to see if there was anything useful there. In a hidden area behind one of the bookshelves, there were many decrepit books. They were the books that were left on the altar over 1000 years ago, and inside one of them was a spell to raise the dead. It wasn't made for watchers or any people but for animals and other creatures but it wasn't too hard to make it fit into the plan that I started brewing,"
