Mobs covered in red or purple light flood the streets of the Main World. Most were hiding away in their homes, scared of what was happening as to many nothing this bad had happened, and those who were alive during the war were scared that they might need to go back to how they were living before and scared about how the attacks seemed to be more powerful than the ones during the attacks. Creatures who looked similar to those coded into servers and those in the Main World too, yet everyone could see that they were, in fact, different, darkness radiated off them causing those who were too close spines to shiver.

It wasn't long until a lot of red lights started appearing as the admin forces came out to counter the attack and from above purple streaks could be seen in the air as the faster watchers came in to help the already deployed admin forces. Admins were doing their best with what weapons they had to hold off those who seemed the most dangerous while some admins did their best to search through the code of this world for anything, even a single line of code, that could help them. Yet when they had scrolled through their screen to where the code should have been it was corrupted. Where the screen should have been a nice red was instead a dark blood red and where galactic should have been making up the code, instead, there were symbols that seemed familiar, maybe they had seen them written on a wall somewhere, but they could not make sense of it. As these admins tried to inspect the corrupted code a red light shined from their screens and mobs started pouring out of the corrupted code. More red lights flashed as these admins teleported out of the room, and those who got out the fastest sealed the room shut so that none of those creatures could escape.

Every hit that each mob took caused it to multiply, soon thousands of mobs were attacking the streets, the admins were outnumbered down upon the roads of the Main World. Swords were soon replaced with shields as admins realised their attacks were doing more bad than good, many teleported back onto rooftops to find another form of attack that wouldn't cause the opposing army to keep growing in size. Unsure if any attacks would work, some of the attacking force changed from their attacking attempts to instead finding those who couldn't fight and teleporting them to an area which had already been spelt by some watchers to protect whoever they could. Other admins made changes to the road, forming walls to form obsidian, yet those efforts did not last long as the strength from these overpowered mobs burst through and caused the black rock to crack. They were struggling to the point where messages had been sent out to some of the more powerful admins from different servers to add to the battle. Admins were hoping, if they were occupied, their fingers would have been crossed, that the council members would be able to save them. They were still scared.

Up in the air, they weren't going much better. By now all those watchers who could and would fight were now in the air, most had partnered up with one watcher keeping up a shield while others were sending in attacks, either with their magic or with their blades. Just like the admins the watchers soon realised that their blades did more harm than good, yet their magic was still working. They were making better ground than the admins but more mobs kept coming in their places, if a solution didn't come for them soon they would be overrun soon as well.

One of the watchers up in the air was one who had only recently discovered her own watcher powers, but she was holding her own against which mobs were attacking her. Artemis hadn't had much time to learn but she paused her work on the servers she was on after she had been certified as a level 1 watcher. After the attack on the trials, she expected that it wouldn't be the end of it, her gut just told her so and was right. The attacks had come back and unlike some of the others who also passed the trials at the same time who hadn't made much ground with her magic, instead, she was closer to the level of some of the lazy level 3s. She was currently back to back with level 2 watchers that she had been in the library a couple of times while she was on her crusade to the best that she could. Luckily for her, the mobs that were coming in her direction weren't any that could fire projectiles, and since she had gotten rid of those that were close enough to attack, she was able to keep sending a barrage of purple flames towards the mobs who were in range. It took a couple of hits for any real damage to happen since her fire wasn't as effective as those who had been training for longer but it was enough that they weren't engulfed in mobs. Yet as more and more mobs came, they came closer and closer and closer to those who were holding out. They were all scared that they wouldn't last much longer.

A/N: Shorter chapter this week but I think this will be the shortest one for a while. Also I have some fun news, I'm about to start a prequel of the backstories of the other council members (The 11 excluding Xelqua and Astaria). This will be posted all at once on the 2 year anniversary of me posting on Wattpad which is the 22nd (or 21st for timezones) of November. I do hope you have been enjoying the story so far!
