Valentine's Day was just around the corner, and Bora found herself caught up in a whirlwind of excitement and nerves. She had planned a day out with Jungwon, and her heart fluttered at the thought of spending such a special day together.

On the Friday before Valentine's Day, Bora headed over to Hana's house, where they had all decided to bake cakes and cookies for their special someone. The aroma of fresh baked goods filled the air as they gathered in Hana's cozy kitchen.

"Let's get baking!" Hana exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "We have a lot of deliciousness to create!"

Bora couldn't help but smile as they put on aprons and gathered the ingredients

The three friends worked side by side, mixing batter, decorating cookies, and making memories. The kitchen was alive with their shared joy, the air filled with the promise of the coming celebration.

After hours of baking, the kitchen was a delightful mess of flour and sugar. They stood back to admire their creations: a beautifully decorated cake and an array of cookies. Bora felt a rush of satisfaction and camaraderie as they posed for a picture with their treats.

"Okay, now we just need to choose our outfits for tomorrow," Minji said, her eyes shining mischievously. They rummaged through their closets, trying on different dresses, and jokingly critiquing each other's choices.

As they continued their preparations, Bora's excitement grew. When it was time for her to head home, she carefully placed the cake in the fridge, with a sense of accomplishment.

She looked at it with a smile, imagining the delight on Jungwon's face when he would see it. The day had been filled with so much joy, and the thought of spending time with him tomorrow only added to her happiness.

As night fell, Bora lay in bed, her mind racing with thoughts of her day with Jungwon. She checked her phone for the umpteenth time, her smile widening as she saw his message confirming their plans.

The morning sun greeted Bora with a warm glow, and she practically jumped out of bed. Her stomach fluttered as she got ready, choosing an outfit that made her feel confident and happy. As she examined herself in the mirror, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was different about her appearance.

"Is this normal?" Bora murmured to herself before shaking off her doubts. After a light breakfast, she took one last look in the mirror and headed out the door, a mix of excitement and nerves bubbling within her.

The hour finally arrived, and Bora found herself at their designated meeting spot – the bench where she and Jungwon had first met. She took a deep breath, clutching the cake and chocolates in her hands.

When Jungwon appeared, a rush of happiness flooded Bora's heart. They exchanged greetings, their smiles hinting at the shared excitement. As they walked together, their conversation flowed effortlessly.

With every step, Bora's nervousness eased, replaced by the warmth of Jungwon's company. They entered a cozy café, and Bora presented the cake and chocolates to him with a proud grin. His appreciative smile filled her with a sense of accomplishment.

Later, their laughter echoed through the arcade as they played games and shared playful banter. Bora caught glimpses of Jungwon watching her, and she couldn't help but feel a magnetic pull between them. It was as if their bond grew stronger with every moment they spent together.

As the day transitioned into evening, they found themselves sitting by a fountain, the soft lights creating a magical ambiance. Bora's heart raced as she listened to Jungwon speak, his voice carrying a weight of vulnerability.

"Since it's Valentine's Day... I have to tell you something," Jungwon's words hung in the air, and Bora's breath caught. She looked into his eyes, captivated by the sincerity in his gaze. "I like you. I like you a lot."

Bora's heart raced, and she felt her cheeks warm as his confession settled in. Jungwon leaned in, and their lips met in a gentle kiss, a rush of emotions passing between them. As they pulled away, Bora's heart swelled with happiness.

She lifted her gaze to meet Jungwon's eyes, her voice a soft, almost shy whisper. "You know," she began, a gentle smile curving her lips, "this is actually the second time we've kissed."

A comfortable silence set between them in that moment.

As she looked at him, her voice quivered slightly but carried a sense of hopefulness, "So, does this mean that we're... well, you know, together now? Like, officially?"

Jungwon's gaze met hers, his eyes reflecting the same sentiment. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and he gently reached out, his fingers intertwining with hers. "Yeah, Bora, we're together. Officially."

Bora couldn't help but voice a lingering concern that had been nagging at the back of her mind. She turned to Jungwon, her eyes locking onto his, a small crease forming on her forehead. "Jungwon, won't your mother be... mad if she sees us like this? I mean, officially together?"

Jungwon's gaze held a warm reassurance as he placed a hand on her cheek, his thumb brushing over her skin softly. "Bora, don't worry about that. My mother, well, she's got her own way of understanding things. Besides, what matters most is how I feel about you."

Bora felt a mix of relief and gratitude wash over her. It was a reminder that their connection was their own, and their journey was unfolding regardless of the world around them. She couldn't help but smile, a weight lifting from her shoulders. "You really mean that, don't you?"

Jungwon's smile was soft, his eyes reflecting sincerity. "Absolutely. And I don't want you to ever doubt it."

As their day together drew to a close, Jungwon walked her home. The moon illuminated their path, and their hands brushed against each other, sending shivers down Bora's spine. When they reached her doorstep, Jungwon bid her goodbye.

Bora watched him go, a smile playing on her lips as she felt the magic of the day linger in the air. The memories they had created together warmed her heart, and she couldn't help but feel that something beautiful was blossoming between them.
