Last time in I was reborn in attack on titan as a bender.
I breathe in deeply and slowly started to walk toward Jack, each of my steps felt a lot heavier than the one before, I could feel my father's words trying to drag me down but unlike last time, the chains that were previously holding me back tighten by a lot but just as I was about to think I was going give up again.
I felt a very soft gentle push forward, and along with a push, all the chains broke, whatever push me, was everything I needed to walk toward Jack.
He seem to notice me and he had a complicated look on his face, on the other hand, Mikasa looked like she was about to jump at me at any moment.
I arrive next to Jack and managed to say"Can I please talk to you for a bit" I said all of that while trying to maintain eye contact key word here is trying.
Now we continue where we left off. "Sure, what can I help you with Krista" He responded In the background, I could hear some talking and some whispering but I'm 100%sure that I don't care what they are saying. They mean nothing to me.
"He got Mikasa and now our goddess Krista, lucky bastard"
"What does he has that I don't"
"is he because his skin is dark"
"that may be it, he the only one this color on the wall"

"Maybe this color attracts girls"

Those were mostly what the whispering was about, none of them were anything serious, it was just a bunch of teenagers mostly acting on their hormones.
"I wanted to talk to you about something, "I said trying to hide my shaking voice and my slightly trembling body, I never truly realize how much taller he was than me, but now that I'm standing in front on him, I feel so short.
"what do you want to talk about princess"He replied looking down at me but it didn't feel like he did to intimidate me, he was mostly looking me up and down and analyzing me, to try to find a reason on why I would even talk to him.
"I'm sorry for what I did," I said lowering my head "I'm sorry that I acted like that, I'm sorry I acted like we were complete strangers," I said slowly raising my head
I could see that his face soften a bit like he was considerate it but when he was about to open his mouth to say something Mikasa opened her mouth and said "that sorry has already passed its expiration note,"
I was surprised by her answer but before I could say something else she leaned in close to me, I didn't move out of the way because I don't think she will hit me. (A/N that a lot of trusts you putting on her girl that beat your ass a couple of chapters ago, a matter of fact, she would have KO you if Jack wasn't there)
"You made him feel like he did something horrible to you for you to ignore him like that and you let that to go on for a while and if I wasn't there to limit so of the damage it would have been worse but you...." She said but was she was cut off before she could elaborate any further, I heard Jack's voice say "Mikasa that's enough"
"What kind of man is he, if he needs a woman to talk for him"I heard a random whisper say "if he doesn't want her then that just means, our biggest competition is gone," Another voice say excited
Annoyance was clearly present on Jack's face but all he said was"I won't forgive what you did Krista, I trusted you and you threw it away "he said
As soon as he those words, I felt like crying, why did I do that to him, my eyes started to get very wet, they were getting filled with tears, but before any tears could leave my eyes he lean in close to me before whispering something in my ear, which gave me some hope. (A/N it's the title)
"wipe away those tears away Krista, it ruins your pretty face," He said before wiping my tears and walking away.

He soon reaches a place where commander Shadit seems to have been waiting for him.
I didn't ponder on it for long, I have a way to fix what I have broken and I'm going to take it, but before I could move and walk toward Ymir I was approached by a young man with spiky, gray hair shaved into an undercut style, with the shaved portion being black. He had small, intense brown eyes, He was of average height and muscular build, and has a scowl similar to Eren's but he had a long face, kinda like a horse, a horse face for short.
"Are you alright Krista?" He said looking at me with worry in his voice "I'm fine"I answer "I'm sorry about what this bastard did to you, me person....." He tried to say But I just cut him off saying"No, and don't ever call him a bastard"
Before I walked off, he was left dumbfounded while I walked toward Ymir.
A/N for anyone wondering why would Jean not go for Mikasa, it is because it is impossible in his eyes and he is not wrong. Also yes there we some girl whispering in there it's just that I didn't know what to write for them, for the dude I just wrote male anime side characters usually say when the mc gets a pretty girl.
