/4\ "...Father...?"

We had finally made it to the part of the mountain that Gyomei was said to own a home next to the water falls.

I take my hood off.

"Himejima?" Obanai asks.

"I'm next to the water fall.." we hear him say.

We walk behind the house to find him sitting on a rock praying.

"What is it you need?" He asks in a calming voice.

"Father...." I stumble back a bit.

"Hm? May I ask who is here?"

"It's the serpent pillar and some girl with a scar on her left eye" the kid with a Mohawk says.

"Father....they told me you were sentenced to death..."

His face softens, a tear running down it as I spoke to him.

"Y/N....my child I thought you were sent to America.. at least that's what the police told me.."

"Genya, Young Obanai, you both are excused.." Gyomei says.

Obanai pats my shoulder before leaving, Genya doing the same.

"Come my child, let's go inside.."

I follow him, still in pure shock of his sudden reveal.

We walk inside and he sits at the table, I do the same.

"I-"

I cut him off and hug him.

"I'm sorry..." he says, gently hugging me back.

"I've missed you...." He says, holding me tight.

I try to to burst out in tears as I speak. "I missed you too....."
