Puzzle (Sequel to Puzzle Pieces)

Two Hours

**Hunter's POV**
I woke up this morning and Ella wasn't next to me.

Instead she was sitting on the patio outside of our bedroom.

I sighed and walked out there.

"Hey," I whispered as I sat down next to her.

"Hey," she said, not looking at me at all.

Her tone was bitter and cold.

"Ella," I started to say before she cut me off.

"Hunter, I don't want to hear it right now. Just let me pissed at you for just a little while longer please," she said before getting up and walking out to get Blake as the baby monitor went off.

I didn't bother following her.

Mainly because I knew she didn't want to be near me right now.

But I wanted to be near her more than anything right now.

So I just sat there out on the patio and listened to her whisper to Blake through the baby monitor.

It was Saturday and Ella, Blake and I were supposed to go to a ski lodge.

She told me a while ago she wanted to go to one.

But I hadn't told her yet.

And I didn't know how with her pissed at me.

If I told her she would think I'm just trying to buy my way back onto her good list.

I think I sat in that chair for about an hour.

Not doing anything.

Just looking out onto the pasture in front of the house.

Until she came and crawled into my lap.

"Hi," she whispered in my chest.

"Hey," I sighed and pulled her closer to me.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

"Don't be. I'm sorry," I kissed the top of her head.

We sat there for a good ten minutes until I spoke up.

"Uhm Ella. I kind of have a surprise planned. But you have to pack a suitcase for four days. Blake too," I laughed awkwardly.

"Uhm okay?" She laughed.

"We have to leave in two hours," I smiled.

"I'm not even gonna question it," she laughed as she walked into the bedroom.

I had my Ella back.

So that's a start.

I smiled and walked into the bedroom.

"That is not packing," I laughed at her.

She was laying on the bed with Charleigh and Cole.

"But they're just so cute," she smiled.

"I'll go get her," I ran out of the room to Blake who was crying.

"Hey it's okay," I swayed back and forth as she stopped crying.

"Come on let's get you dressed," I smiled and laid her on the changing table.

"Hunter her clothes for today are hanging on her crib don't put anything else but that outfit on her!" Ella called from the bedroom.

"Okay okay!" I laughed.

I got her dressed smiled at her.

"Are you ready for your first trip?" I whispered to her and kissed her forehead
