"Alright Blake bed time," I leaned down and put my hand on her back later that night.
Hunter had just texted me that they were almost halfway to their destination for the show. So now I'm putting Blake to bed so I can go to bed too.
"Aw mommy I don't want to," she flipped her bottom lip out and tilted her head.
"You know that only works with daddy. To bed," I chuckled.
She quickly got up and ran to her room. She hopped into her bed and I walked over and tucked her in.
"Goodnight Blake. Love you," I whispered before kissing the top of her head.
"Goodnight mommy love you. Can you tell daddy I love him?" She whispered.
"Of course," I smiled and walked out of her room, shutting the door behind me half way.
I walked into the bedroom and changed into sweat pants and one of Hunter's shirts, which are usually baggy on me. But due to the basketball attached to my stomach, it wasn't baggy at all.
I climbed in the bed on Hunter's side. Just before I laid down, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
"Ow," I mumbled, moving over to get more comfortable.
And there it was again.
And again.
Until I finally decided to get up and walk to the bathroom. I turned on the light and looked down at the floor and noticed I was stepping in something wet.
"Hunter uhm oh my god the baby it's uhm my water uhm it broke," I immediately called him, still standing in the puddle.
I didn't get a direct reply at first. All I could hear was a mumbled "turn the bus around now."
"Hunter what do I do," tears were streaming out of my eyes right now.
I couldn't drive myself and my five year old daughter to the hospital while I'm having contractions.
"I'll call mom she can be there in five minutes to take you to the hospital. I'll be there as soon as I can, El. But hang in there for now. And don't have that baby without me there," I could hear the smile in his voice.
"Okay. I love you," I quickly wiped the tears away from my eyes and wrapped up the conversation so he could call his mom.
"I love you too. I'm gonna call mom now. I'll see you soon," he whispered before he hung up.
I stood there in shock at first cause I didn't know what to do. But then I shook myself out of my trance and made my way to Blake's room.
"Blake. Blake wake up we have to go."
