He nuzzled on the bed, feeling a hand on his head. He looked up, and the one with pale skin smiled at him.

"How you doing, hm little fella?" He heard the starred one say. He got up a little, tilting his head at the human.

"He can't respond, you do know at least that?" The taller one said. He turned to look at him, a little mad. He wasn't stupid, he was Blanc. Blanc wasn't stupid, at least, he didn't think so.

"Aw, look! You made him upset." The starred one was quick to pull him towards themselves, shielding his eyes protectively.

"It's okay Baby Blanc, I know you get me." The starred one whispered, smiling down at him. Blanc was glad of that statement, he wasn't stupid.

"Da, da. Come eat, little bear." The tall one said, setting a plate on the floor. "Quickly, please. I need to watch for Poland."

He wiggled out of the starred ones arms and hopped off the bed, gratefully munching on the fish he was provided. Blanc wasn't really paying attention, but he could hear bits and pieces of their conversation. It seemed important.

So oblivious to his tiny existence.

Poland flew through the skies. He had a hefty bag strapped to his chest and he hoped he would make it there before any gust of wind could trap him under the snow. He was always really anxious in the snow, it brought back bad memories.

He saw the castle in the distance, it had a pretty mosaic design, and Poland was still wowed by the fact that it managed to hold up. He soared through the air, trying to find a safe landing place.

Russia had spotted him by then. He was a little anxious, in his mind Poland could be coming to declare war, take America, maybe even raid his house. He waved Poland over, trying to ensure a safe landing.

Poland spotted Russia and quickly flew down, flapping his wings. He tried to offer Russia a smile.

"Privet, the wings look nice." Russia attempted to compliment. He was never good with social things, especially not when it came to people he had rocky pasts with.

Poland smiled. "Thanks. I've been trying to fly more, get used to them." He said, flapping them behind him. He was glad technology was as advanced as it was so he could get a wing replacement. They weren't a stunning gold like his natural ones, and they weren't as big, but he could manage with sliver.

Russia stepped aside to let Poland in. He had helped Germany put together a fund to pay for the surgery. It was almost paining for Russia to look at the frayed and scarred stubs sticking out the smaller nation's back before, but now he had wings again.

Poland entered and took note of the silence. Were the siblings not here? He was looking forward to seeing at least Ukraine.

"America is this way." Russia said, walking past Poland. His tall stature and aggressive resting face was intimidating, but he was really a nervous wreck.

Russia led Poland down the hall and into the medical quarters, where America stared out the window with Baby Blanc in his lap. Russia cleared his throat and America snapped out of his daze. He jumped up and ran over to Poland, almost engulfing him in a hug.

"Hi! It's so good to see you again! Have you talked to Germany? The wings look so good, by the way. Y'know, I saw-" America started. Russia pulled America off Poland, looking at him as if he had gone mad.

"America, you're sick. Have some consideration." Russia gently scolded. America gave him his 'innocent' eyes, and that got Russia off his back really quick. Poland curiosly watched this interaction.

"Are you two..?" Poland made a little holding-hands motion to suggest what he was asking. America and Russia shared a glance. They hadn't exactly talked about that yet. Poland got the message.

"Nevermind that, I got your letter Russia." Poland said, reaching into his bag. He pulled out the letter, along with other letters he had sent with information about America's whereabouts.

"Be lucky I got to them before anyone else did." Poland crosses his arms. He indirectly told Russia to be more discreet. Poland pulled some medicine out of his bag and a few other things, like papers with recipes and whatnot.

"Here, give these to America, one every day. And these are just some recipes you can try to get his immune system back up." Poland said, zipping up his bag and setting it down.

"Oh, thank you! You're too kind, really." America grabbed Poland's hands and shook them a little, before picking up Blanc and taking him with him to see the recipes.

Poland looked at America, a small smile on his face. Russia looked at Poland, trying to figure out what to say now.

"I am beyond grateful for your help... but why?" Russia asked, a concerned look on his face.

Poland smiled. "It's the least I can do, America is a friend and you gave me my life back." Poland said, wiggling his wings.

Russia sighed. "But I was the one who took it away in the first place." He mumbled. Poland gave him an apologetic look.

"No, I've forgiven you countless times for something you didn't even do. How do you expect to be forgiven, if you can't even forgive yourself?" Poland said. He sighed softly. "If you didn't want to do it before, do it now. It will help you feel better. Do it for yourself, and for him."

Poland motioned to America, who was going over the recipes with Blanc. Russia sighed. "I suppose you're right." Russia said, finally cracking a smile. Poland was glad to see he made a difference.

"When do you plan to leave? You can stay the night if you like, it might be too cold for you to fly back." Russia said, his eyes going back to Poland.

"That sounds good, I can catch up with America and get a nice meal." Poland agreed, setting his stuff down.

Traveling all throughout South America didn't heal Canada's wounded hope. China felt a little bad. He knew his only goal was financial gain, but he was starting to grow fond of Canada.

Ukraine didn't know how to help Canada either, and when they treaded through American territory the two couldn't stand seeing their friend so hurt. So they took their own little trip during the night, trying to find a new plan.

"China, I'm worried for him." Ukraine confided, tossing a rock. China nodded, feeling the same.

"I feel the same. I only have one suggestion to lift his spirits." China said. Ukraine perked up.

"We find America. And if there's one guy who knows where he might be, it's Kazakhstan." China finally said.
