I scowled, holding (Y/n) close to me in a protective manner, growling at the door. (Y/n) kissed ny cheek, the sensation immediately calming me down. However, I still didn't let my guard down.

"Don't worry Carrots..

I've dealt with police a lot of times now to know what to say."

I smirked at (Y/n)'s raised brow and I got up, quickly dressing myself in new clothes. A pink shirt with some black joggers, the clothing being a little tight on me as it was (Y/n)'s and she was particularly short.

I snickered to myself and I saw that she was quickly rushing to get changed too.

"W-wait! Ness!" She hugged on to my arm, staring up at me with pleading eyes.

"Please...I want...I want to go together...I don't want them to take you away.." She said quietly, making me chuckle and pet her head.

"Aww...my lil' Carrots is worried about me!" I gushed playfully, earning a groan from her.

"Of course I am!! You know I...you know I love you..." She muttered the last part. Despite how quiet it was, it made me absolutely ecstatic, feeling energized and giddy when I still heard it

I giggled this time and gave her a squeeze as I hugged her.

"I love you too, sweet love..." I purred into her ear, making her blush and hide her face into my neck.

"Ms. (L/n)? Are you in there?" The police called out again. I rolled my eyes and used a handkerchief as a makeshift eye patch over my right eye.

"Its okay, love..I'll handle this." I reassured, kissing (Y/n)'s forehead and made my way to the front door, her following close behind. I opened the door to be met with two men in blue uniforms, one with his hands on his hips.

"Oh..Good morning miss. Is...is Ms (L/n) around--"

"Is there a problem here? Why do you need her?" I crossed my arms, blocking (Y/n) behind me. My tone came off as more hostile than I wanted it to be.

I noticed the officer looking at me in a strange manner, especially my patched up eye.

"Uh.." He cleared his throat as he looked at his partner, who shrugged back at him.

"We're currently doing an investigation of the Mega Pizzaplex, and as far as we know, Ms. (L/n) had been working there as a cashier. We want to question her, as the cameras showed her there last night with a missing child, and that bear animatronic." He spoke, still discretely glancing at my scars and covered eye.

"Oh? Is that so..." I say as I grew quiet, looking back at (Y/n), who pushed her way past me and met the police.

"Hi! Hi...yes..I'm (L/n). Um...I.." (Y/n) paused..

"We're not in trouble...right?" She asked quietly.

"That entirely depends on what you have to tell us and what comes out of our investigation." The police simply said.

"We strongly advise you to come with us to the police station for an interview. You were there that night. And so you're our only lead.." He said, adjusting his hat.

"I.."

"I was there too." I added quickly, holding (Y/n)'s hand tightly.

"I was there that night. If you're looking for information about that place, I know a lot."

"Ness! What are you doing?" (Y/n) whisper yelled at me as she tugged on my arm. I just gave her a reassuring smile, before facing the police again.

"Trust me...I've seen a lot in that hell. Where'd ya think this came from?" I grinned, pointing my thumb at my right eye, which was the police's focus of attention the entire time anyways.
