It was the day of his game, I felt like puking as soon as I woke up. What should I wear, I feel like formal is to weird. I ended up wearing a black tank top and a reddish varsity jacket with some jeans. I grabbed a red bandana since I have almost every color in my collection. I quickly straightened my hair and then put on the bandana. "Fuck I can't do this, he's gonna hate me." I whined and leaned over the sink to think about my future choices. Once I finished I brushed my teeth carefully yet thoroughly and took my medication. I grabbed the poster from the corner of my room and the flowers. (The flowers were still okay, don't question how😃👊) I rushed downstairs, "Bye mamá!" "¡guau, guau, guau! Desayuno Robin." ("Woah, woah woah, Breakfast Robin.") I sighed and took the toast and put in my mouth before reaching down to grab my bag. I sighed quietly and went outside, walking to school quietly.

I felt more relaxed after that little pep talk, I smiled to myself and walked threw the school doors and up the 600000 flights of stairs (it was only 4) I huffed quietly and entered in my combination gently putting the poster inside and leaving the flowers in my unzipped bag which I also placed inside. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. "Hey Robin!" He smiled. I smiled back and waved. "Wait, did you get new rubber bands?" (4Braces) "Oh, yeah." "You know what, I should just take a picture of you everytime you get new ones." "Never, I hate pictures!" "BUTBWHY?" "BECAUSEE!" I laughed and shut my locker, leaning on it. (The urge to make a kissing scene right here right now.........) (But I can't😭😭😭😭😭😭😭) I heard Vance walk up the stairs like a lunatic. "Hah Fags." "VANCE YOU LITERALLY DREAM ABOUT BRUCE DON'T EVEN." And just like that Bruce walks up the stairs also. "You what?" He smiled, placing his hand on his hip. "Robin don't even you know I have dirt on you from last night." "Wait no I'm sorry do not." "Exactly." Finney looked over and raised an eyebrow at me, I covered his eyes and smiled, using his head as an armrest for my other arm. "Asshole." "Don't make me cover your mouth to." I said while looking down at Finney "Gays." Vance said, having his arm around Bruce's hip making a grossed out face. "Im not even gonna protest at this point." Bruce looked over to Vance and whispered something in his ear. "I heard that." Finney said, his eyes still being blocked by my hand. "Robin I think your man is a bat." "I know." "So your not denying he's your man?" I secretly nodded my head since Finney couldn't see. Bruce laughed and leaned into Vance's chest more. "Flamers." "You three are stupid." Finney said, now removing my hand from his eyes. I smiled. I pulled out my phone and secretly texted Vance. "Dude Finney is so adorable what the fuck." I hit send and heard Vance's phone go off and he pulled his phone out, opening the message I sent him. "Your gross." "Shut up you boy kisser." "I only kiss Bruce." "Yeah, exactly. Boy kisser." I sat down at our usual lunch table in the corner and took out my phone, I was usually the first one here since my last class before lunch was the closest. I saw Finney running, being chased. As soon as they saw me they stopped. "Holy fuck that was close.." he muttered I stood up. "Robin no—" I started walking over to their table, that was until Finney took my arm. "Robin don't, their not worth it okay?" I crossed my arms and looked back at them before back at Finney. "But-" "No." "Finnnnn!" "No." I looked back and sighed, "fine." "Thank you." "If I see them outside of school their dead." Finney chuckled and made me follow him back to the table. God I love this boy. I sat down and talked to Finney for a few minutes before I saw Vance and Griffin coming and then Billy, and then Bruce came a few minutes after. "Took you long enough Bruce." Vance said. "Not my fault my class is so far away." He sat down across from me (next to Vance) "Hey Bruce wanna make a bet?" Finney said. "Sure?" "If I hit a home-run and win the baseball game tonight you have to buy me a new bat." "what why!?" Finney raised his eyebrows and mouthed something to Bruce. "Ohh, okay." "And what do I get if you don't?" "What do you want?" "Vance to take me out on a date." He glared at Vance. "Ohmygod really Bruce?" Vance looked at him. "Yes." "Okay if I loose I'll pay Vance 20 dollars in quarters to take you out on a date." "Deal, I'm running low on quarters." Vance said Finney and Bruce shook hands on it We were called to go get our lunch. (Slowly loosing motivation.........) _____________________________________ Finneys POV:
"Hey Robin?" "Huh?" "Are you coming the the baseball game..?" I sounded hopefully, honestly I did want him to come.. "Oh yeah!" He smiled "Really!?" "Yea!" I smiled genuinely, I was happy he was gonna go. Usually he was busy at home, helping his mom. Which don't get me wrong isabela is really sweet it just sucks we can't hangout as much. I got my lunch and said thank you even tho it looked disgusting. I grabbed a water which was thankfully free and went to go sit down. "Does anyone want my food? It looks.. gross-" "Me!!" Griffin said, snatching my tray. I opened the water and took a sip from it before setting it back on the table. "Bruce, do we have practice before the game?" "Yeah, we do." I groaned. "Damnit, that means we will have to shower and then eat afterwards." "Yup." The crowd was cheering, it was the last inning and it was Finneys turn to bat. Robin sat on the bleachers next to Vance, Billy and Griffin, holding the poster and flowers secretly. "Finney should loose, I want those quarters." "I'll give you quarters." "Fuck yes, never mind Finney should win." (This is like the movie but Finney's in Bruce's place and someone random in Finney's place) Finney got his stance ready, holding his bat. The opposite team player threw the ball, Finney missed the swing. "Strike one!" The ball was threw back to the player. He threw it again, Finney missed. Strike two! "Shit.." Finney said under his breath. Robin watched the boy miss, his eyes never once left him. The ball was yet again passed to the player who threw it again. Finney swung, hoping for the best. He swung as hard as possible and— Hit it! Finney fist pumped the air and didn't hesitate to throw his bat to the ground and run. The player failed to catch it, he was now on the third base, he sprinted and slid onto the base just in time. "Safe!" Finney won. His team celebrated with him before he ran over to his friends Bruce following. Robin huffed, terrified for this moment. He got up and help up the sign. Holding the flowers. I ran over to my friends, I didn't see Robin on the bleachers but when I looked over and saw him I instantly covered my mouth. "Finney, I like you. Will you go to home coming with me..?" He choked out. I nodded slowly, and tackled him into a hug, making him drop the sign and flowers and laugh. "Can I kiss you..?" He asked and I nodded, smiling. He cupped my cheek and pulled me into a kiss. I wanted this moment to last forever, but it soon came to an end. Robin pulled away and smiled, wiping my teary eyes. "Siempre estás en mi mente Finney, te amo." ("Your always on my mind Finney, I love you.") I smiled even tho I didn't know what he said. I knew that everyone was gonna be okay as long as I had him by my side. I pulled him into another kiss, earning a cheer from my friends. "I KNEW THEY WERE FLAMERS, WHOOO!" Vance cheered. I pulled away again and whispered in his ear, "You spelled home-coming wrong." "Shut upp...." I smiled and pulled him up.
