I slept for almost the entirety of yesterday

I slept for almost the entirety of yesterday. Whenever I woke up, I took the pills Harlow gave me, then I was back asleep. I can't even express how tired I was yesterday.

I felt so well-rested when I woke up this morning, and it was only early when I opened my eyes. The sunrise hit the curtains so delicately, that I stared at it until the image was painted inside of my head. A mesmerising sunrise in Italy.

My legs were tangled in only a blanket, while the other side of the bed resulted in a messed up duvet. Harlow slept last night, with me, but not for long. I woke up in the middle of the night and took a pill, and the bed was already undone, but she wasn't there. She must have not slept much since we got here, which makes me worry about her health a little; sleep is key.

I push myself up on the bed to sit down, making a note to myself to do it slowly next time, because I moved my hip too fast and a quick shot of pain ran through me. The pills definitely helped a lot because the wound doesn't hurt as bad as it did at first, but of course, not all the pain was eliminated.

I toss the blanket to the other side of the bed, lightly pushing my legs off the bed and standing up. I check my phone on my bedside table, noticing I have a couple of messages from the girls. I haven't had the time or energy to check my messages from them over the last day, especially since I was asleep for most of it. I knew they'd be worried if I didn't text back as soon as I got to the cabin from the club, so I told Harlow to tell them I was okay just tired and needed some rest. A white lie, or a half-truth, but I couldn't have them worry or freak out and not be able to reach me properly.

I set my phone back, noticing that the time was only 6:38 am, then I walk over to the wardrobe I set my clothes in.

I grab a hoodie out of it, as well as a pair of fresh joggers. I try my best to change into them without irritating my wound, though I can't help it from still hurting during my daily movements. I figure I'll get downstairs while everyone is hopefully still sleeping - or in their rooms at least - and I'll make myself something to eat, and maybe some tea. I haven't had much to eat and I'm starving.

I open the door of my bedroom and peek out to see if anyone's walking around, but to my luck, all doors are closed and I don't see anyone. When I step out of the room though, I notice quiet voices coming from downstairs. I take a walk down the long landing, passing by everybody's rooms, until I get to the open railing, overlooking the large living room of the cabin, where I hear the voices clearer and manage to see exactly where they're coming from.

It doesn't come as a shock to me when I hear Harlow's voice, she's out of bed at hours much earlier than this one. I recognise that she's speaking in Spanish, and once she finishes her sentence, I hear a manly voice replying. I duck down slightly to get a slight view of who she's talking to and I find it's Damiano, Vera's boyfriend.

I make sure to keep hidden rather than going downstairs because I don't want to interrupt them secondly, and firstly because I want to know what they're talking about. That might make me nosey, but I'm interested.
