Earth. For decades, a mysterious occurrence has changed the world forever. Portals to other dimensions began to emerge all over the entire world, leading to powerful monsters known as Magical Beasts to run rampant. In order to fight this growing threat, humans that have also been granted magical powers were listed as to face the beasts as Hunters, which gave birth to The Hunter Association.
The key detail of a Hunter to note, is the amount magical power in their possession determines their status in the world, ranking from S, A, B, C, D, and E. Once, their rank is set, it stays that way... forever.
But eventually, a young man after being saved at his lowest would step up to challenge this world's system. Little did he know that this was only the beginning for him...

Far down, on the Earth's surface, in the country of Japan, there was someone, a young man who appeared to be wearing dark black armor and a deathly purple aura around him.
