Nick was on the phone with Delilah the two were catching up over recent events in their lives.

Nick: "So now Finn still isn't talking to me and... Delilah? Delilah you still there?"

The boy can hear the sound of people in the background.

Delilah: "Yeah, yeah sorry erm Finn and being an ass? Hey Nick I've got to go... I've got to erm study... yeah study."

Nick hears laughter in the background.

Nick: "Yeah no worries... I'll talk to you..."

The call ends and Nick looks at it, "Later." Unfortunately this was becoming a reoccurring theme with both Delilah and Tyler, he felt as though he was being left behind by them. He understood they were out living their best lives and Nick couldn't blame them, but he missed his friends. Two of the best people he could ever had hoped to meet in his life. He lays on his back sinking into his bed and scrolling on his phone through old pictures. He comes across one of him and Delilah from when they dated and he can't help but smile.
He decides to send a text to the girl.

Nick: Have a good night I'm missing you lots! X

Nick was sat in the choir room watching a performance led by Puck called Hot for teacher. Nick couldn't deny it was a good performance, inappropriate but full of energy, however, he once again was feeling a bit left behind. Yes him and Finn still hadn't spoke, but he hadn't done anything to Puck. As the performance ended Nick clapped along with everyone else. Mr Schue was praising the boy, but Rachel called out what everyone was thinking about the subject of the song. Puck being Puck played dumb and said it was because he loves Van Halen. However, Nick saw Puck look out the window so he leant forward and to his surprise saw Shelby. He sits back and Quinn looks at him questioningly, Nick shrugs his shoulders and reaches over and takes her hat off her head. The boy then puts his hand up, "Urm Mr Schue."
"Yes Nick... that's an interesting choice of headwear." The teacher replies, Finn scoffs at the boy. Nick stands up and walks down the steps, throwing the hat back towards Quinn who playfully rolls her eyes and successfully catches it, "I actually also have a song I'd like to sing today."
"Okay let's hear it for Nick." Mr Schue claps and the boys who'd just performed sit down.
Nick closes his eyes,
