So now I'm living with Paige and Daisy in their apartment, specifically sleeping on their sofa. It kinda sorta sucks, but at least it's not like back at ho... back at the Russo's residence. Paige and Daisy's living room is kind of small compared to the living my pa... Lilly and Enrico Russo have. They have a couch, a few chairs, and a TV with a PS4 and a Nintendo Switch hooked in. Beside the TV was a small shelf with plenty of games for both systems on it; the PS4 games are blue, the Switch ones are red. I got up to check which games they have.

For the PS4 they've got Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal (must be a sequel or something), Dragon Ball Fighter Z (the heck is that, even?), God of War (it looks good, it's got an old man and a kid on the case), Guilty Gear Xrd (what?), Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 (the fuck?), Monster Hunter World, Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package (Disney? Heh, that's cute), and Ghosts of Tsuchima (that one looks cool). For the Switch they have Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Pokemon Sword (heh, Pokemon? That's still around?), Legend of Mana (looks cool), Bayonetta 2 (YES!!!), Street Fighter V (Never heard of it), Atelier Lulua (Huh...looks cute), and Octopath Traveler (The name kind of grabs my attention).

A part of me is tempted to play, but I already feel like beyond intruding on my favorite couple. God bless those two, they were really worried about me, weren't they? And I was letting myself waste away to nothing; I think I was letting myself die! I screwed up, bad.

I decided to sleep, see if I can get something resembling rest...

The very next day...

"So, uh," I began, sitting on the couch. "What should I do today?"

"Stay here," Daisy said as she and Paige were preparing to go to work. "Watch Netflix, Crunchyroll, Disney+, or go ahead and play something on our consoles."

"But don't touch our computers, please," said Paige. "We've got them set up just how we like'em, OK?"

"OK," I said, sighing. Do they think I'll legit break their computers or something? That I don't know how to work a computer? Girl, please; I did my own streams!

Speaking of, I've been thinking of quitting that. I don't know; I haven't streamed since before going to L.A., and I honestly don't feel like going back to doing it. It doesn't feel as fun as it used to anymore.

I checked the games; a part of me wanted to play Bayonetta again, but that Atelier game had me curious. I decided to play some Atelier Lulua, just to see what it's like...

Two hours later...

Why is the dialogue all in Japanese? I didn't understand a damn thing they were saying! Thankfully the writing was all in English, so I could understand it all. Honestly, this game is fun; it's just that the dialogue gets to me.

Well, now I'm bored. Maybe I'll watch some Netflix. These two have a shared account, plus private ones for each. Hmm, let's see what Daisy is into...

Daisy is into superhero shows, sci-fi, and cartoons. Heh, that's very in character for her. Now let's see Paige... she's into Indie movies, dramas, Star Trek, and cartoons, too. Cute...

A knock on the door. I peer out the window to see who it is; it's Kevin! I open the door to greet him.

"Vanessa!" He exclaimed, looking relieved. "Where have you been!?"

"Getting screwed over," I said, sighing. "How'd your test go?"

"It went OK," he said, shrugging. "You OK, though?"

"I'm surviving," I said, sighing. "Please don't ask me what happened, OK?"

"OK," he said as he sat down on the couch that I'm sleeping on. "So whatcha doing here?"

"Daisy and Paige dragged me here," I said. "Since... I'm not well."

"Sorry to hear that," he said, looking a bit sad.

"It's whatever," I said, shrugging as I sat next to him. "No class today?"

"Nah, both professors called in sick today," he said. "Truth is, they got WAY too stoned last night."

"How do you know?" I asked, curious.

"Cuz me and Artie caught them smoking weed behind the library last night," he said as he rolled his eyes.

"Artie?" I asked. "Friend of yours?"

"Yeah," he replied. "Arthur Morgan, Jr. We call him Artie, though, cuz he HATES being called Arthur."

Wait.

"Arthur Morgan," I gulped. "JUNIOR?"

"Yup," he said. "Nice kid, a little shy."

"S-s-s-so his dad," I began, my hands trembling. "Is named Arthur Morgan?"

"I think so," he said. "All I know is that the jackass is in jail."

Oh God, no, no, no! It can't be! It just can't be!

"W-w-w-w-why's he in jail?" I asked, suddenly finding it harder to breathe.

"Because the bastard sexually assaulted a fifteen year old girl," he replied with a sneer. "Apparently Artie's mom caught him texting the kid, so she reported him to the police. Dude got locked up, and then Artie's mom changed her last name after divorcing the moron. She works as a waitress down by the diner we had your birthday dinner in. I've met her; nice lady, actually."

"Oh God," I said, starting to heave. I started remembering everything Maggie told me...

I'm not married anymore...

My ex-husband cheated on me...

He cheated on me with a younger girl...

It was me! IT WAS ME! I ruined Maggie's marriage! It was me!!!

I started vomiting. I rushed to the bathroom, with a very worried Kevin holding my hair. It was me! I did it! I'm guilty! I can't keep it in anymore!

"It was me," I said, vomit still on my face, tears in my eyes.

"What?" Kevin asked.

"It was me," I said, crying. "I did it. I'm the one who ruined Artie's family! It was me!"

"What?" Kevin asked, looking perplexed. Again I started vomiting, and crying, and vomiting some more.

Huh...the world's getting a bit darker now... feels weird... I think I'm conking out...
