"Get the jacket. It's my treat."

Changmi was taken aback as she gazed at the jacket and then at Jin. Hesitant, she picked up the jacket, and her eyes immediately widened as they landed on the price. "Jin, this is quite expensive."

"That man's card is paying for it, so get what you want. I still owe you a birthday gift. The jacket is adorable and suits you perfectly. Willow and Sage might be disappointed if you don't get it." Jin gently rubbed his hand over his pregnant belly as he looked at Changmi.

"Fine! I will get it."

With the jacket in her hand, Changmi approached Jin and hugged him, saying, "Thank you so much. You are the best."

Jin hugged Changmi and smiled, "I am happy to see that someone else thinks that way." He moved away from Changmi and said, "Let's get checked out and get out of here as soon as possible." I haven't eaten yet."

"Okay, are you getting-"

"Seokjin? Seokjin, is that really you?"

Changmi, who could see the expression on Jin's face, laughed at the sight of him closing his eyes in the vain hope that the voice would go.

"Oh my gosh, it's you! I had a feeling that I had seen that side view before. How are you?" Jimin asked as he came closer to Jin.

Jin slowly opened his eyes and greeted Jimin with a slight smile. "Hi, Jimin. How are you?"

"I am good. Wow, you are about to pop. Aww, I can't wait to meet them."

Excitedly, Jimin extended his hand towards Jin's stomach, intending to rub it. However, Jin swiftly moved away, explaining, "They will be here soon, and you'll have the chance to meet and touch them then."

"Sorry, I got a bit excited. I haven't seen you in so long. Did you get my message? I wanted to inquire if you could attend the small birthday party my husband and I are organizing for our son. I understand that Jungkook is currently out of the country, but I believe it would still be enjoyable if you could attend the party without him. I could have a car pick you up." Filled with anticipation, Jimin gazed at Jin, his eyes brimming with hope, eagerly awaiting his response.

Jimin had been putting in a lot of effort to establish a connection with Jin, but Jin was not making it simple for him. He had a tendency to attend family gatherings seldom and often showed little to no response to text messages. Jimin was not fond of the situation but tried to be empathetic because Jin was pregnant. Once Jin had the babies, he planned to express his thoughts if the same behavior pattern persisted.

He was determined to assess whether Jin possessed any unpleasant qualities like his brother, even though he wouldn't be shocked if he did. Despite his conflicting thoughts, he couldn't help but see the potential for a great friendship between himself and Jin. This was especially true now that they were part of the same social circle, which made it even more logical for them to become friends.

Changmi noticed that Jin was not planning to reply, so she took the initiative to speak up, stating confidently, "Rest assured, he will be present at the party. Regarding your previous message, I did receive it, but unfortunately, I forgot to pass it on to him. Please send me the party details so I can make the necessary arrangements for him to attend."

Jimin beamed and said, "Excellent! My son has extremely particular interests, so we had to prepare a list to guarantee that he only receives the items he wants for his birthday. I will also have my assistant send along the present list.
