Jin rolled his eyes, feigning ignorance towards the bothersome individual who was calling out his name. The man assured him that he could handle looking after the children. However, within a mere five minutes, his name was being called. He decided to live his life differently after learning, in front of the man's family, that he was not a single parent.

"Taehyung, why don't you go and join Jungkook? He might need some assistance. I will stay here with Seokjin while he prepares the food." Jimin smiled and directed his attention towards his husband.

Taehyung, who had been patiently waiting for the food Jin was serving, gave his husband a displeased look. "I'm sure Jungkook-"

"Taehyung, I would appreciate it if you could go help my brother out. Thank you." Jimin repeated his words, this time with a stronger tone while giving his husband a stern glare.

Jin's attention was caught by a sudden hiss, despite his attempts to mind his own business. He quickly turned his head and noticed Taehyung glaring at Jimin. Without saying a word, Taehyung abruptly left the kitchen area.

As Jimin watched his husband walk away, he sighed and thought, "There was really no reason for him to be so difficult." He then turned towards Jin, who had resumed what he was doing and started walking closer to him.

When Jin ignored him, he approached and peered into the pots on the stove. Then, his gaze shifted to the side dishes Jin arranged on a tray. He was pleasantly surprised by the food's appetizing appearance and enticing aroma. "Did you prepare all of this?"

Jin, absorbed in what he was doing and wanting uninterrupted concentration, casually replied, "Yeah."

"That seems like a lot of work. Why don't you consider hiring a chef or ordering pre-made meals? There is a popular service here. Occasionally, when Taehyung suggests his craving for Korean food, I take the initiative to order it through an easily accessible service. They handle almost everything; I only need to follow a few simple steps. Before you know it, the food is ready to be enjoyed."

"I am capable of preparing my own meals; I don't need the services of a chef," Jin responded to Jimin without paying him any attention.

Jimin let out a sigh upon hearing Jin's response. "Seokjin, I'm not sure if you're aware, but I'm trying to be a friend to you. I understand that my brother may have shared certain things about me, but I am not as negative as he may have portrayed me. I understand that being a new parent can be challenging, and I am aware that my brother has a busy schedule. Therefore, I would like to offer my support to minimize some of the burden. We can hang out, even if it's not for the purpose of helping out."

Jin released a deep sigh of frustration and annoyance before turning to face Jimin. He asked, "What is the reason behind your eagerness to spend time with me? Do you believe that just because your brother and I are married makes it necessary for us to be friends?"

Jimin was caught off guard by Jin's harsh tone. He took a moment to compose himself, inhaling deeply, and responded, "I believe our relationship doesn't necessarily have to be based on the fact that you're married to my brother. It would be good for us to become familiar with one another. You are married to my brother, but I know nothing about you. Besides Jungkook, no one else has much knowledge about you. I asked my dad because I thought he might, but it turns out he doesn't, which I find strange."

"What exactly is strange about that?" Jin asked, curious to find out where Jimin was going with his comments.

"Seokjin, I hope this is not offensive in any way."

"Which implies that you will say something offensive, but fortunately for you, I don't take things personally. Let's hear it, then. What do you want to say?" Jin looked at Jimin, folding his arms over his chest.
