A/N: My brain went back and forth between this book and Prof. Jeon; it's now obvious which one came out on top.

Jin, absorbed in his show, took a momentary break. With a blueberry resting on his tongue, he tilted his head, straining his ears to detect any sound. To his surprise, the entire house remained enveloped in peaceful silence.

An hour had passed since Jin had successfully lulled the girls into a peaceful sleep. It was no surprise to him that they were now sound asleep, for it had become their usual routine to sleep undisturbed from midmorning until the afternoon.

The peculiar silence of the man who had visited the house stirred his confusion and suspicion. The man was upstairs in the main room where he slept. He had been unusually quiet and had not caused any disturbance. He was starting to believe that he owed his daughters for this, as they had kept him awake all night. Now, he was tired and unable to be the annoying intruder he usually aimed to be.

He had hoped that once the man woke up, he would find himself outside the door where he should be. Jin had been reluctant to have him around for an extended period of time, as he believed that his life was significantly improved without any disruptions. His sole desire was to carefully arrange every aspect of their lives, ensuring that his children and brother would reap the benefits. It became his utmost priority to resolve any issues and establish a happy future for all of them.

As he resumed watching his show, he settled back on the sofa, fully intending to focus on the program. However, his mind couldn't help but wander to thoughts of his son. The absence of his son left him with a sense of incompleteness. Despite his efforts to reassure himself that his actions were for their future, he couldn't help but question whether he had been selfish in his choices.

"What other choice did I truly have?" He pondered out loud, sighing, before turning off the show and making his way to the kitchen to prepare a meal.

"What did you say?"

Jungkook gazed at his reflection in the mirror, slowly running his fingers over his well-defined abs as he waited for a response from Yoongi.

"I thought he was younger than Seokjin; what is he doing with a child?" After hearing from Yoongi, he asked about Jin's brother's child.

As he continued listening to Yoongi, he shook his head in disbelief. He couldn't understand why someone as young as Jin's brother would have a child. "I suppose that's why Seokjin wants to bring him here; he's likely leading a reckless life there. Does he live with anyone else besides the child? Based on what Taehyung told me, he didn't appear to be living with anyone." Jungkook mentioned this based on his recollection and the knowledge he had acquired.

A smile formed on Jungkook's lips as he said, "I understand, that is quite fascinating. I would prefer you to be the one instead of Taehyung's brother. I strongly dislike that person, but I'm curious about you suddenly taking on the role of a stepdad. How do you feel about it?" Jungkook chucked, listened to Yoongi's words, and started moving around the bathroom.

After hearing Yoongi's response, he chuckled and said, "Well, that's not a bad thought. I have to go now, but please keep me updated on the identities of those men. Please investigate the other matter for me, as I strongly suspect a connection between them.

Also, make sure that you take necessary measures to ensure his silence regarding your presence. I don't want Jin to know about this yet. I am convinced there is much more to him than I currently know, which I have a problem with."

"How long have they been sleeping? Did you feed them before they went to sleep?"

Jin closed the lid of the pot and turned off the stove burner. He turned completely to face Jungkook and asked, "I'm sorry, were you talking to me?"
