"He's so adorable," Jimin cooed as he looked down at his newborn nephew. "I can't believe you and my brother already have three kids together. I honestly never thought I'd see the day Jungkook would even have one. How many more are you two planning to have?"

"Three and done," Jin said flatly, closing his eyes as he tried to shift into a more comfortable position on the hospital bed. His body still ached from labor. "We're not having any more," he added once he found a position that offered some relief.

Jimin frowned as he looked from his nephew to Jin.

"Really? Why not? You're still so young!"

"Because I have no interest in having any more. That's why."

Jimin sighed dramatically. "I guess I'm the only one who actually likes having kids. Taehyung always wants to limit how many we have. Whenever I bring it up, I feel like I'm begging him. It's exhausting. He's always known I wanted a big family, and yet he makes me feel like I'm the unreasonable one for wanting another baby."

Jin glanced at him, voice dry. "I can see how you and Jungkook are related."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jimin asked, confused by the sudden jab.

Before Jin could respond, the hospital room door opened. Namjoon stepped in, drawing both of their attention.

"Namjoon?" Jimin blinked in surprise. "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in forever."

Namjoon gave a polite smile, though his gaze drifted toward Seokjin, who met him with a stern, unreadable expression. "Hey, Jimin. I didn't expect to run into you here. How've you been?" he asked, but his eyes flickered back to Jin. "I actually work here, if you didn't remember."

"Oh, right!" Jimin said, laughing. "Are you Seokjin's doctor?"

Namjoon shook his head and gave Jin a pointed look.

"No. I used to be. But that's changed. I guess he didn't want me as his doctor anymore."

Jin rolled his eyes as Jimin looked between them, his curiosity growing. There was clearly more to this story, and Jin could already see the wheels turning in his brother-in-law's mind.

The room fell into a tense silence until Namjoon stepped closer to the bed. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

Instead of answering, Jin turned to Jimin. "Jimin, can you give me a moment alone with Namjoon, please?"

Jimin hesitated momentarily, his curiosity piqued by what was going on between the two. After a brief pause, a small smile broke across his face as he nodded in agreement. "Sure, I'll take Seon with me, if you don't mind," he said. As he spoke, he adjusted his hold on his nephew, whose tiny frame nestled comfortably in his arms.

"That's fine," Jin responded, his tone clipped and restrained. He watched as Jimin quietly left the room, the door closing behind him. Once alone, Jin's piercing gaze shifted to Namjoon, his glare filled with disbelief and frustration. "You have some audacity coming in here!" he exclaimed.

"Seokjin, I'm really sorry. I know you may never believe me, but I truly am sorry. I understand that you probably feel like I betrayed you, but I didn't mean to. From my experience, I realized that your reasons for wanting to have an abortion back then weren't valid. Moreover, I couldn't go through with it. If I had, it would have been for my own selfish reasons—wanting you to be free to be with me. But as a doctor, I knew it wouldn't have been right. You also know that your husband isn't the most forgiving person. He has already threatened my position here..."

"Is that why you told him I tried to have an abortion? Are you afraid of him?" Jin yelled.

"What?" Namjoon asked in shock. "I never told Jungkook anything. I would never stoop that low. However, I don't think you understand the power your husband holds; I'm sure it would have been nothing for him to have one of the nurses around here inform him of everything. But I swear to you, I have never shared anything with him. I don't even like having a conversation with that man."
