Maddison was on her way to the choir room when she was hit with a slushy, the brunette knew this was bound to happen at some stage but it didn't mean she was prepared for it at all. The brunette wiped her eyes to see a couple of boys from the football team walking away and high-fiving.
While she was still processing what just happened and what to do next a voice interrupted her train of thought
"Hey...um do you need some help?"
"Please." The mystery girl then gently took maddison's hand and led her to the closest bathroom.
One inside the girl led her to the sinks and grabbed some paper towels for herself and Maddie.
Amongst cleaning herself off Maddison spoke "Thanks for this."
"No problem, I guess you've never been slushied before?"
"Nope, have you?"
"No but I've seen enough of those glee kids get hit and clean themselves up so I'm semi qualified to help you." The mystery girl in a jokey voice
"Well in that case your expertise are greatly appreciated." It wasn't much longer till Maddie's face was void of slushy and she could finally see the girl who saved her ass.

Maddison didn't even realise she was staring till the girl spoke up
"Hazel, nice to meet you."
"Maddison."
"I know...you are in my history class."
"Well it's nice to officially meet you Hazel from History." the brunette said with a smile which the ginger reciprocated
"Not that it's any of my business but why did they slushy you?"
"I'm one of those glee kids you were talking about."
"Makes sense now."
The pair just looked at each other till Maddison looked down at her clothes now stained red and blue
"I should go home and change." the brunette said before walking to the door
"I have some clothes you could borrow."
"Only is your sure?"
"Yeah, not like I'm using them plus saves you the trip home, just wait here."
"Thanks." And with that Hazel left only to return a few minutes later, the brunette took the pile and entered a cubical to change.
