Needles.

"You are not putting that in me."
"I have to Hermano."
"No."
"It's for your health."
Rudy stood in front of me in the med bay holding a needle with some sort of substance in it.
"No."
"Y/n. Stop being a baby and roll up your sleeve."
"No."
I crossed my arms.
"Dios, eres un niño."
(God, you're a child.)
Ghost and soap stood off to the side, watching.
Alejandro was going through medical supplies.
"If they deal drugs and manipulate their weapons, there could of been something on those bullets."
"They barely grazed me. I could of done this all myself."
They had already bandaged my thigh, giving me a pair of athletic shorts to wear.
"Stop arguing before I send you home."
Alejandro glared at me.
I huffed.

"Stubborn one."
Soap nudged Ghost lightly.
"Mhm."
He was watching it all play out, his eyes not showing any emotion.
"Why'd you leave him?"
"Didn't want him getting in the way."
"He got injured because of you."
"I don't want to hear it, Johnny."
Ghost said sternly, not looking at Soap.

"It says the last time you got your shots was two years ago."
Alejandro looked up from my file.
"That was when I joined."
"And they never made you take another?"
"Nope."
"estúpido.."
(Idiot)
I rolled my eyes.
"I'll be find without."
I hopped of the cot.
"Alejandro. I think this is in the wrong file."
Rudy suddenly spoke up, going through some papers.
"There's someone else's papers in here."
"Here is?"
"Someone named d/n"
(Dead name)
My body grew tense.
"Last name?"
"O/L/N"
(Old last name)
"Do you know this person?"
Alejandro and Rudy kept talking.
"No. Never heard of her."
"D/N?"
Ghost suddenly said.
Alejandro and Rudy turned to him.
"Sí."
"I... I know her."
Ghost said quietly.
Soap raised an eyebrow.
"How come you know her and I don't?"
"Because she was an old... friend.."
"Old friend huh?"
"Shut it Johnny."
"I don't think I will, Simon."
My eyes widened. I was in the middle of picking up my tactical belt.
"Simon Riley..?"
I whispered, barely loud enough for anyone to hear.
Ghost's eyes shot to me.
"That's me."
I felt like the room was turning upside down.
My heart fell out of my ass.
I felt so dizzy, like I had just gotten up after a few days of not taking my iron pills.
"I... need to go."
I grabbed my vest, not bothering to put it on.
I basically jogged to the door.
"Wait! ¡No has recibido la vacuna!"
(You haven't gotten the shot)
Rudy called out but I was already opening the door.
The door closed itself. I felt like my whole body was going to give out.
