"No."
"Do you have something important?"
"Well no but—"
"Then you're going."
Alejandro stood in front of his desk, his arms crossed and leaned on the desk.
"I don't want to go!"
"This is work. You don't pick and choose when you're on duty. When duty calls, you're suppose to be there."
"Put me on a different mission."
I demanded.
"No."
"Yes."
"Y/n."
"You can't force me! Im not going to the 141 base!"
"You are a lieutenant now y/n!"
He practically yelled.
I didn't want to be a Lieutenant. I wanted to stay a sergeant.
"That means traveling with me and Rodolfo."
I sighed, leaning back in the chair.
It had been four months since Soap and Ghost had left. It pained me to think about loosing Simon for a second time, so I just decided to keep calling him ghost and pretend I didn't know he was Simon.
"Look, whatever happened to you and Simon that day he came to visit you is irrelevant now."
My eyes shot up to him.
"How did you know about that..?"
"He asked me for your address. I refused multiple times but he said he just wanted to have a friendly chat."
"¿¡¿Amigable?!? ¡Me atacó!"
(Friendly?!? He attacked me!)
I stood up.
"Cálmate. Lamento lo que pasó pero por favor."
(Calm down. Im sorry that happened but please.)
He looked at me with sad eyes.
I knew he had no other men that he trusted more than me and Rudy.
"Fine."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose.
