I walked through the base, not really knowing where I was going.
I watched a group of people walking so I just followed them and I ended up in the mess hall.
I spotted Rudy sitting at a table with Soap and a few other people.
"Mañana. ¿Cómo has dormido?"
(Morning. How did you sleep?)
Rudy greeted me as I sat down in the chair beside him.
"Bien."
(Fine)
Truth was I barely slept a wink.
I didn't feel safe in that room with Ghost. What if he attacked me again?
As I got up I saw Ghost was awake.
He was breathing heavily and sweating.
Probably just got done jerking himself off.

"What are the plans for today?"
I asked, looking at Soap who was shoving a pancake in his mouth.
"No clue."
He said, his mouth stuffed.
"Ask Simon."

I hated it when they called him Simon.
I tried my hardest to pretend he wasn't Simon. That he was just another guy I had to work with, which is why I always call him Ghost.
He wasn't the Simon I remembered...
I mean sure, I found it heart warming that he wanted to find me so badly but I would of never expected him to get physical.
I feel like it's just better for his mental heath to think I'm dead. Who knows what he will do if he found out I was.. well.. me.

"Who put this perra tonta in charge of us?"
(Dumb bitch)
I muttered, earning myself a stomp on my foot.
"Ow!"
I yelped.
Before anyone could ask what was wrong, Alejandro spoke up.
"Where can we find ghost?"
Alejandro stood up, then tapped me on the shoulder to tell me to stand up with him.
"He is probably in his room."
Soap shrugged, wiping his face of the sticky mess.
"He wasn't there when I woke up."
I said without much thought.
Rudy turned to me.
"They put you two together??"
Alejandro looked upset.
"I specially asked them to keep you two separated."
König perked up.
"I heard he asked to be put with y/n?"
König's German accent made my bones rattle.

"What?!"
"What?!"
"What?!"

The three of us said in unison.
I looked towards Rudy and Alejandro, seeing them staring at me.
"What happened when you guys first saw each other?"
Alejandro inferred, raising an eyebrow.
"Well I was in the middle of changing when he walked it, then he went through my bag."
I shrugged, deciding to leave out the part where I was going through his letters on his desk.
"Is he even allowed to do that?"
Rudy looked over at Soap, then back to me.
"Well Ghost is just like that."
Gaz suddenly joined the conversation. I hadn't even known he was sitting there.
"Im just like what?"
The deep voice surprised me.
I whipped around, faced with Ghost's chest.
He was wearing a compression shirt and grey sweats with his detailed skull mask.
I was silent, staring up at him.
"Don't stop just because I'm here."
He leaned forward slightly.
I felt a hand grab my arm, pulling me away. Alejandro now stood between me and Ghost.
Ghost didn't seem very phased, taking a step back.
A moment of silence passed. It was full of tension...
"We should go meet the recruits."
Johnny suddenly said, standing up.
"They have training this morning."
He grabbed Ghost's shoulder. He didn't look too happy.
He gave me a small glance before turning and following Soap.

"What is his problem?"
Rudy finally asked once they were both gone.
Alejandro shrugged.
"You never did tell me what happened."
"Just petty stuff I suppose. He's mad I'm a better lieutenant than him."
I joked, hoping the conversation would die.
Suddenly I was grabbed on the shoulder from behind.
"I need you three."
A gruffly voice said from behind me.
"It's urgent."
