Recovering.

I don't remember much of what happened. One second I was flirting and the next she was coming at me like a feral dog.
My body ached as voices suddenly started surrounding me.
"I really hope you aren't lying, Ghost."
"That's exactly how I found him. Why would I lie?"
"I don't trust you after you broke into his apartment."
"You broke into his apartment?!"
"That doesn't matter right now."
The voices are where blurry sounding. I tried to open my eyes. Move my body. Anything but I couldn't.
"Look, right now we have to focus on getting him better. Then we can do the interrogating."
"No! I want this skull face in a interrogation room now!"
"Alejandro please, let's worry about his health first."
Finally, as if a switch had been flipped in my brain, my eyes forced themselves open. It was bright. Way too bright. My whole body ached as I struggled to sit up. A groan left my throat and I heard the room go silent.
"Y/n!"
Suddenly two arms were wrapped around me.
"Oh I'm so glad you're okay..."
Alejandro held me tightly.
"Y-You're hurting me—"
I mustered out, and Alejandro was pulled off of me by Rudy.
"Are you alright soldier?"
Captain Price asked.
"I feel horrible."
I rubbed my eyes. Everything hurt..
My lower stomach cramped as if I was on my period.
"We need to go through the normal questions."
Gaz said, who was standing off to the side with Soap and some other woman I didn't know.
Alejandro opened his mouth to protest but Rudy grabbed him and pulled him away.
The woman walked up slowly, standing infront of me.
She was very pretty. She had a nice structured nose and was wearing a hijab.
"How many fingers am-"
"Three."
I didn't let her finish. She gave me a look, then continued.
"Who are you?"
"Y/n L/n."
"Where are you?"
"141 base."
"Do you remember what happened?"
I stayed silent for a moment, trying to think back.
"I got shot with a dart that had some kind of poison on it right after Ghost left me. I passed out and they took me inside. I don't remember much after that."
The woman nodded, looking back at Ghost.
"Why'd you leave him alone?"
"Why is everyone blaming it on me?"
He grumbled, crossing his arms.
"Well if what Alejandro said about you breaking into his apartment back at Las Almas, it seems you have something against him."
She raised her eyebrows. She didn't seem afraid to say it as it was.
"He didn't do anything."
I said suddenly.
"I don't remember much but I know it wasn't him.."
I looked around, swallowing hard. I hated how many people were here.
"Alright."
The woman nodded.
"Farah!"
Alejandro seemed upset.
"Do you not believe your Lieutenant's words?"
She asked with a raised eyebrow and Alejandro scoffed, opening his mouth to say something else.
"Please go somewhere else or let me go to my room."
I said as I rubbed my temples.
Everyone let the statement sink in, and I heard footsteps walking away.
After a moment, I opened my eyes again. Everyone was gone except Ghost.
"I saw something you probably didn't want me to see."
He said, staring at his shoes.
"I know you remember."
His voice was soft.
"I told them the gist of it so that will hold them off until you are ready to talk about it."
He avoided eye contact and kicked around at the concrete floor.
"Thank you.."
I whispered, looking at my hands.
"Do you want me to leave?"
A moment of silence followed.
"No, actually. I would hate that."
