"You kissed me!" Aeon exclaimed, catching his breath. They were both breathless after the kiss. Pansin pa niya ang pagtaas-baba ng dibdib ni Tadz tanda ng paghabol din nito ng hininga.

He cupped her face gently and met her eyes as he said,
"Is that your way of telling me that you forgive me for whatever I did?"

It was always him who initiated the kisses that had happened between them in the past that was why he was still in disbelief even after the kiss. He just couldn't believe that for the second time, it was Tadz who made the first move for a kiss to happen.

"Am I forgiven?" masuyong saad ni Aeon. Hindi pa rin niya nilulubayan ng tingin ang dalaga.

"What if . . . what if I told you it was a goodbye kiss?" Tadz said, meeting his gaze. There was no hint of any emotions on her face.

Ganoon na lamang ang takot at lungkot na biglang lumukob kay Aeon nang marinig iyon sa yaya ng kambal. Just the thought of her leaving him and the babies made his heart clench so bad. Paano pa kaya kung oras na talaga ng pag-alis nito?

"But we have a contract. You signed the contract, right? Hindi mo basta pwedeng ipagsawalang bahala iyon."

"Contract?"kuno't noong tanong ng yaya. "I don't remember signing on one."

"F*ck!" napamura si Aeon nang maalalang walang pirmahan ng kontrata na nangyari sa pagitan nilang dalawa.

Bakit ba nawala na sa isip niya na papirmahan iyon sa yaya ng kambal?

Nais niyang suntukin ang sarili sa mga sandaling iyon.

"Ano bang nais mong gawin ko para mapigilan ka sa pag-alis mo? What should I do for you to stay? Please, tell me."

Tadz felt silent. Sinubukan ni Aeon na salubungin ang mga mata nito ngunit mailap iyon.

"Aren't the twins enough reason for you to stay? Hindi ka na ba masaya kasama kami? Pagod ka na bang asikasuhin at alagaan sila?"

"Kailan ma'y hindi ako mapapagod na alagaan ang mga anak mo,"she said softly. Tila ba tulad niya'y nahihirapan din ito.

Alam niyang kahit hindi nito sabihin, mahihirapan itong mapalayo sa kambal lalo na't napapansin niyang napamahal na ang dalaga sa mga ito.

"Then why would you leave? Was it me? Are you getting tired of my sickening attitude towards you?"

He moved closer to her and gently cupped her face.

"I'm sorry. I'm a total egocentric jerk. I always thought of myself rather than your own feelings. I'm sorry. Palagi na lang sarili ko ang iniisip ko. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dragged you in my messy life. I shouldn't have forced you to do something out of your will."

Silence.

"But you promised me, Tadz. You promised me you won't leave us."
