The following morning, Bianca's appearance was very close to a zombie. She had dishevelled hair, huge dark circles under her eyes, she was all sweaty, and her head was spinning. What a great way to start the day!

Florence was already up and preparing the breakfast for them when she reached the kitchen. "Luckily, we don't have kids here. Otherwise, you would scare the shit out of them" were her exact words when she saw the brunette. "Thanks, Flo." Bianca giggled. Florence pushed towards her a plate with 30 grams of muesli and a yogurt, Bianca's favourite breakfast. She probably has been eating it since she was ten or eleven years old. "Daniel wrote me," Florence informed her, "perhaps Bonnie told him we came back, and he wanted to tell us hi." Bianca stopped eating. She should have imagined Bonnie wouldn't have shut up. However, she wasn't sure she was ready to step so soon into her past. "You don't have to come if you don't feel like it." Florence gently told her.

Bianca shot her a half smile, "where did he want to see us?"

"At his new house. He is looking forward to giving us a house tour. "

"Ok."

Florence's eyes widened in surprise. She definitely didn't expect Bianca to agree so easily. Usually, it took at least an hour of arguing before you could hope to have convinced her. "Are you sure I'm talking to my friend and not to an impostor?". Bianca chuckled and nodded. "There's only one way to see if it's really you: what is your stupid motto?". Bianca sighed loudly, "are we seriously doing this?". But when she noticed Florence remained silent waiting for her response, she said: "life depends on what you decide today." "Thank god it's you, I don't know how I could have dealt with a stranger, I have just done my nails" Florence said showing the brunette a pair of very long nails with stars and rainbows designed on them. "I keep wondering how you can do things with those monsters instead of your nails." Bianca was a fan of simplicity in every aspect of her life, including nails. She limited herself to a neutral colour of nail polish.

It was a beautiful day in London, strangely it wasn't raining, the sky was clear blue and the sun shined bright on them. Bianca, before heading towards Daniel's house, went to buy something for her and Florence at the supermarket. They still had to dissemble all their stuff, and having arrived only a couple of days ago, their fridge needed a refuel. She grabbed the keys of her car, a typical Italian car, the fiat 500, set the navigator since she never learned any street and started the engine.

She put on a Taylor Swift album, Reputation, and started singing at the top of her lungs don't blame me. She, in a certain way, reflected herself in that song; she had gone crazy for love, so much to think she couldn't go on without her ex lover. She hadn't thought about Emma in a while, actually, until she stepped in London and mostly until she got face to face with her last night. It was like being in front of a ghost, a ghost she with all of her strength had tried to forget but deep down inside of her heart held still a place nobody could ever hope to occupy.

Buying food in England was a bet for Bianca. She loved that country, but food definitely wasn't its thing, especially if you compare it with Italians.

After infinite research, she had found something that hopefully wouldn't have killed her and Florence, which essentially consisted in a package of pasta with tomato sauce and half kilo of chicken breast. She was struggling to pick a pack of candies for Florence due to her height, being 1,57 had its disadvantages for sure. "Oh, come on!" She huffed, annoyed. Not wanting to make a fool of herself, at the tenth tentative she dropped her mission, she would explain it to Florence; however, someone had seen her and had reached easily for that object.

"You should try wearing heels, little cousin."
Bianca widened her eyes, shocked by the person she had in front of her: Lorenzo. She hadn't recognised him with those cap and giant glasses which covered his face. "Lore!" She exclaimed happily, throwing herself on him. "I missed you, little girl." He whispered sadly. "I missed you too, Lore, so much." They stayed like that for a few moments. He was like her big brother, her better half, so she really couldn't have hoped to meet up with a better person than him. "How're you doing?" He asked as they slightly pulled away. "Could be better, you?"
"I'm on cloud nine actually, vogue hired me" he informed her with a small smile. "Wow, it's wonderful, Lore, congratulations." He had gotten a degree in journalism at Oxford University, and he had always dreamed about working in the fashion industry. "Thank you, Bianca. But a little bird told me I can finally stop paying millions at the dentist, isn't it right?". 'Florence' immediately thought Bianca, "that bird was right, I'm a dentist."
