A few days had passed since the internet had blown up with thousands of articles about Bianca and Dan and Bianca and Emma.

The young girl, following Lorenzo's advice, decided to take a short break from everything, to think a little bit more about herself before coming back to the normal life.

She had received a crazy amount of messages from literally anyone: Bonnie, Dan, Alex, Rupert, her mother, Evanna, Lorenzo, Jennifer...

Even Tom had written her saying he was profoundly sorry for how she found out about his and Emma's relationship, that if it had depended on him he would have told her the truth the same day they met up again, but Emma wouldn't have let him do it.

And lastly, there was her.

Emma had tried in any possible way to reach out for her, just to hear her soft voice for a moment, even if Bianca had shouted at her the most horrible things; because now that Emma had been so lucky to find her another time, she wouldn't accept to lose her, not again.

Firstly, she had sent her messages, hundreds of them, then there were the calls; then she, while trying not to be seen by others, knocked on Bianca's door at least twice a day... but there was nothing Emma could do right now to be forgiven by the younger girl.

Bianca was too shaken by the recent events. She couldn't put up with the fact that Emma had lied for such a long time straight to her face, not caring a bit of how she could feel about finding out of her and Tom's relationship throughout a damn journal.

Eventually, she was right: they were never meant to last.

********

It was the first of December when Bianca decided to go out of her shelter. She couldn't have possibly picked a worse day than this one because that day, exactly seven years ago, the magic between her and the actress stopped forever. Seven years ago, Bianca kissed Emma's soft lips, tasting her strawberry lipgloss, for the last time. Seven years ago, she said,'I love you' for the last time.

But yes, she always chose the best times to change her life. She had to admit that.

Not to waste any time she directly put her grey scrub on. Thus, she didn't have to worry about being a few minutes late for work.

She miserably failed in the attempt to seem normal: she was all grumpy and easily distractable that she neither noticed that Florence had sat on the driver seat, and obviously, the brunette took advantage of it. She loved to drive, and certainly, she wouldn't miss the chance to when Bianca wasn't caring about her.

They spent the whole way to the cafe in complete silence, only listening to Taylor Swift's album 1989, Florence's favourite.

Bianca was lost in her thoughts, wondering how she ended in this horrible situation in which, no matter how much she tried, she didn't see a way out. It was all dark from her point of view.

And what was worse was that now she would have to act as if she wasn't falling apart when Emma and Tom would do all the things couples usually do.

In the meantime, Florence had been able to park their car without having killed them. What a miracle!

"Come on, let's go. I'm starving." Said Florence. Indeed, Bianca could hear rumbling her stomach.

She giggled because at least certain things never change, and Florence's appetite was one on those.

It was expected to be an ordinary day, where she would just work until afternoon chatting with Florence about all the things they still had to experience since they came back to London, and then simply retiring at home knackered, enjoying a film slouched on their purple couch; but no, it would have been to easy. Were was the fun if everything followed her plans?
