"Kamari, what's wrong?" I ask as I burst through her open front door

"Kamari, what's wrong?" I ask as I burst through her open front door.

"She's a fucking psycho, that's what's wrong." Milo, Kamari's boyfriend, says. He's sat against the wall with a hand on his head.

The full room is a complete mess. Things are tipped over and thrown everywhere.

"I accidentally-" Kamari starts.

"She threw a fucking plate at my head." Milo shouts.

"I did not." Kamari shouts back. "I threw a plate and you fucking stood there and let it hit your head you moron."

"I didn't expect to get a plate launched at my head."

"Well maybe you should have."

"Ok, can we just calm down." I say, trying to diffuse the situation.

"I am calm." She says, uncalmly.

"You're not fooling anyone bitch." He comments.

"Fucking call me a bitch again, I dare you."

"Why am I here?" I ask loudly, trying to steer the conversation off in a different direction.

"Because he has a big gash on his head and I don't want to go to jail for murdering him even though he really deserves it." She raises her voice at the end of her sentence.

"Are you hurt?" I ask Kamari. She's my priority, not him. She could kill him for all I care, I'd help her hide the body.

"Pysically, I'm fine." She tells me.

"Yeah but you're mentally unstable." Milo says.

"The murder charge is detering me less and less the more his sorry ass speaks so I'm going to stand outside until you're done." Kamari says to me before leaving out the front door.

I walk over to Milo and sit beside him on the wooden floor.

"I don't know how you're friends with that plate throwing bitch." He says as I get out the limited medical supplies I carry in my bag.

"I'm here to help you not shit talk my friend and boss." I state.

"I'm just saying."

"Well don't." I say while looking at his wound. "If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here right now." He's lucky she's a good person.

I sterilise his wound before putting on some steri strips.

Gather my things before rising to my full height. "If it hurts take some painkillers other than that, you're good."

"I'm going to tell everyone what a psycho she is." When he says that, I stop in my tracks.

I slowly turn to face him, a dark look in my eye.

Over my dead body.

Kamari isn't a violent person, her words alone are enough to do the job. Whatever this man did or said to her made her completely lose it. I don't doubt that he deserved it.
