I try to move from my place on the bed but Anatoly's arm slung lazily around my waist stops me.
He groans and tightens his hold on me.
"Anatoly let go." I say while trying to move his arm.
His arm flexes as he holds on tighter.
"I need to take Aiyden to school." I state.
"No." He mumbles.
"You can't just say no, he needs to go to school."
"Let somebody else take him." He says, his voice still groggy with sleep.
"I always see him before school, I want to take him."
"Who wants to wake up early?" He asks.
"I don't want to wake up early but I do it because Aiyden needs to go to school and I like to spend time with him before he does."
"Spend time with me."
"I can spend all day with you, now let go."
"No."
"Anatoly."
"What?"
"Do you want me to hurt you?" I ask.
He scoffs at me so I move my arm back and elbow him out if spite. His clutch on me releases and I manage to escape.
I go into his closet and throw on some clothes that are more on the casual side.
I grab my phone from his side table and catch him looking at me while still lounging on the bed.
"I feel used." He says.
"Used?" I say in disbelief.
"We had sex and now you're ditching me." He says.
"Are you being serious?" I ask because I can't tell if he's genuinely hurt by it. "We had sex last night and it's not like I'm sneaking out. Also I'm your wife, it's not like you're never going to see me again. I'll be back as soon as I've taken Aiyden to school."
He looks me up and down before he pulls the covers further up and the back of his head hits the pillow. "You'd better be. I have to leave for 1 and I'd like to spend some time with my wife before then."
"I'll be sure to be as long as I can." I say with a sweet smile.
"Keep talking like that and I might just keep you here all day."
"See ya." I say, rushing to leave the room.
I see Anatoly roll his eyes. "Goodbye, Reyna."
I walk through the halls and into the room Aiyden is sleeping in. The room is extremely dark execpt from Aiyden's night light in the corner of the room. In the darkness I can see Aiyden stretched out on the oversized bed with his gigantic teddy bear beside him and a collection of other stuffed animals also filling the space.
