As I completed my Fajr salah, the soft glow of the early morning prompted me to step outside onto the serene balcony. The world was painted in delicate shades of pink and purple, as the rising sun began to chase away the darkness. Mesmerised, I allowed myself to be captivated by the ethereal beauty unfolding before my eyes.

The air was cool against my skin, carrying with it a faint scent of jasmine and dew. The sounds of chirping birds echoed in the distance, serenading the breaking dawn. Each note seemed to harmonise perfectly with the gentle sway of the trees, as if nature herself was offering a melodious symphony to the heavens.

As I watched, the sky transformed from a velvety canvas into a vast expanse of vivid hues. Fiery streaks of orange and gold gradually speed across the horizon, as if a celestial artist was slowly unveiling a breathtaking masterstroke. I couldn't help but marvel at the intricacy of creation, and the power of the One who painted such a magnificent display.

In that moment, all my worries and anxieties melted away, replaced by a peaceful tranquillity that enveloped my being. The stillness of the early morning seemed to be a gentle reminder to appreciate the blessings bestowed upon me, and to express gratitude for the chance to witness such a glorious spectacle.

With each passing minute, the sun inched higher, casting its warm glow upon everything it touched. The world, once shrouded in darkness, was now bathed in a gentle brilliance that illuminated even the smallest details. The dewdrops on the grass sparkled like tiny diamonds, while the leaves shimmered with a fresh dewy glow.

As I stood there, basking in the splendour of the rising sun, I couldn't help but feel a profound connection to the divine. It was as if the morning beauty was a tangible reminder of the infinite mercy and compassion that surrounds us each day. The breathtaking sight before me was a testament to the miracles that can unfold when we take a moment to appreciate the simple joys in life.

With a grateful heart, I offered a silent prayer of gratitude for this gift of witnessing the sunrise. In that moment, I realised that every morning holds the potential for renewal, for new beginnings, and for growth. The beauty of creation, combined with the serenity of prayer, provided me with a sense of peace and purpose that resonated deep within my soul.

However, amidst the beauty of the morning, I sensed a shift in the atmosphere. There was an unfamiliar energy in the air, as if someone's gaze had suddenly landed upon me. Instinctively, I turned my head to see a pair of piercing eyes fixed upon me. It was Zunaid, standing in the garden, his gaze meeting mine, and in that single moment, my soul connected to his.

Startled by my unexpected encounter, Zunaid quickly averted his gaze, as if caught in the act of stealing a forbidden glance. My heart raced, my pulse echoing in my ears, as I tried to comprehend the effect his mere presence had on me. It was an instant attraction, a subtle spark that set my heart ablaze.

My mind overflowed with questions and emotions, the surprise encounter injecting a flurry of excitement into my veins. What was it about Zunaid that drew me in? Was it his intense gaze, or the enigmatic aura that surrounded him?

Shaking my head at the thought I came back inside .

It's been a month since that heated incident happened between us . After that moment as usual Zunaid avoided my existence but didn't stop me going near Zubi .

Even though we stay under the same roof , we rarely get to see him. He goes to the office before I wake up and comes home after I sleep but that's what doesn't bother me. It's the absence of him in Zubi's life . It feels like he is avoiding Zubi too .

In the evening …

" Aa aa aa …good '' I laugh as Zubi eats the full spoon of mashed rice cutely .

I heard footsteps from upstairs and got alert .

He is home?? How come I don't know ??

My thoughts were interrupted when the doorbell rang .

One of the staff went to open the door .

" ZUNAID! ZUNAID MY SON " ,my ear perked up at the familiar voice .

Ya Rab no no please don't be her please don't be her .

" Aunty ?" Zunaid finally graced us with his presence at this perfect timing . I stand far behind them .

" My son , I heard what happened, how are you? " her voice broke at the end .

No matter how her behaviour is with me or Samiya . She loves Zunaid with all her heart .

" Zunaid !" A loud high pitched voice screeches and I couldn't help squeeze my eyes shut .

Just . My.  Luck

Gohaar !

" Zunaid … I heard about Samiya " she came running from behind her mother and hugged him tightly making my eyes almost come out of its socket .

" What. The . Hell ?" I mutter under my breath .

Can't they see me ?? At all ?

" You know what now I am here , I won't leave you and Zubi I will take care of her in the absence of her mother " she fake cry still clinging to him like a leech .

This woman !!

Stay away from him you leech …

" You don't have too I here for that " I step forward since they refuse to acknowledge my presence .

Finally she unwrapped her arm much to my relief but then again .

Why do I care?

"  - wh- what are you doing here ?" She asks with a fake smile while Aunty Sumaiya look on .

"  Because I am his wife " I smiled while her fake one dropped .

'' WHAT ?" Aunt Sumaiya yelled while I looked at Zunaid worried .
