17- A good boss never lies

A dark body was hovering over me and I could do nothing but stare out into the dark room captured by the uneasiness.

I flinched momentarily as their fingers touched the exposed skin of my shoulder, yet I couldn't help but complain in gibberish, shifting in my lying position.

But then small drops of water start falling on my face and I try to wipe them off and this continues to the point that I am getting annoyed and waking up from my sleep. Was there a leak in my apartment? Why is it happening now? Things were finally happening between me and Alvi-

"A-Owww!" I got up with a start because of a slap on my face.

 "Whaaa-" I groaned complaining, trying to form a sentence.

"She is up! She is up!" Someone shouts mostly like a cry and runs off in a different direction.

I was sleeping? My eyes were closed? I was dreaming? Seriously? Again.

"NOOOOOO!" I scream falling on to my pillow, wanting to throw a big fit. This is all wrong! I thought things were finally-

"You don't look so happy now? did you see your brother's face?" Lilly enters my room making a light joke at her boyfriend's expense.

"Ughh!" I through my head back in my bed trying to bury myself in there. 

I was throwing a fit like a complete teenager now. "Now, now, it's alright V. Your brother isn't that bad looking is he?" she jokes again and I can't help but cry and laugh at the same time.

"I-"

"What happened? Come tell your mama." Lilly cooed, pulling me up from my bed.

I huff loudly, my heart a complete wreck. "I had the dream. Again."

"Alvin kissing you?" she asks, tucking my messing hair.

"Yes." I whisper dejected. I felt stuck under a rubble of my crushed dreams.

"It isn't something new to you. Why are you so bothered by it today?" She asks curiously.

"It felt real. So real!"

"You always say that V. Now stop thinking about and lets go have brunch."

"By the way, what am I doing here?" I ask instead looking at my old room.

"Your brothers brought you here in your sleep. And you didn't even bat an eyelash when they carried you. You were dead asleep." she informs shaking her head. I was a deep sleeper indeed.

"Wasn't I with Alvin?" I fired at her yet again confused.

"Yes. You were, but Alvin had to be somewhere and knowing you, they didn't wanna risk you sleeping the whole day away without any supervision. Hence your brothers did this. Plus you know you promised your dad to spend the weekend here."

"Yes. I did." I cheer up with the thought of spending the day with my dad.

"Good, now get changed and then we can go," She ushers me towards the bathroom door.

"By the way, where is Khloe? She was supposed to be here." I asked peeking through my bathroom door.

"Yeah, about that, she said she was meeting someone. Its strange-," Lilly informed and that is last thing  I head before closing the door behind me.

It's Monday again and I can now relate to the office memes that I recently have been coming across. The internet is a scary place. Once i was thinking about eating something and then my Insta feed suggested that to me. I freaked out for a minute straight.
