Kassie walked out of cell block A with doctor S by her side, "I'll keep watch over Mason you go get some rest" he said lightly as he placed a hand on her shoulder, she nodded before pulling out the walkie-talkie.
She walked down the corridor before sliding down one of the walls, she flipped to the channel Jackson's walkie was on, "testing one two, Jax can you hear me over?" She said as she looking into the library. "Jax are you there?" She asked again before flipping to another station thinking he was on a different station, "testing one two three, Jax are you there?" She asked as she walked into the library. Kassiopeia walked down one of the aisles of fantasy books when it sounded like something was picking up signal, "Jax you there?" She asked but froze when a male voice cut through.
"Don't know who Jax is but someone is here" a male voice sounded making Kassie look around the library.
When she didn't see anyone she sat down at a table and watched the walkie talkie for a moment before pressing the button to speak, "are you real? Or am I really starting to lose it" Kassiopeia muttered the last part to herself.
The male voice gave a soft chuckle, "no im real, my name is Brandon" the voice said before another voice spoke, "and I'm Hugo" a more Hispanic voice spoke.
"Wait this is real?" Kassie asked with a small smile.
"Well I think we're real" Brandon mused.
"Well I'm Kassiopeia- but if you can hear me this means you're close by to some degree! Where are you two?!" Kassiopeia asked excitedly.
"Shouldn't you at least buy us a drink first" Hugolaughed.
Brandon took the walkie talkie back, "we were just in the city Atlanta" Brandon explained, "we should've just stayed out of the city but we're going to check my house, see if my family's still there" Brandon said softly.
"Well I hope you find them, I would offer you a place to stay but we just had an incident here and I don't think it's that safe at the moment" Kassiopeia said with a frown as she looked around the empty library.
"Well maybe we could stop by and see you, take you with us if it isn't safe for you there" Hugo said as Brandon lightly hit him.
"We'll be headed to Chestlehurst Rd, Senoia, GA" Kassie nodded as she wrote down the address before pulling out a map the scavenging group had a spare of.
She scanned over the map when she read the bottom of the map, "we are located in Newnan, Georgia" she said proudly as her lessons with Daryl were finally paying off.
"You're not going to be more specific?" Brandon asked with a small smile.
"Nice try but we're no where near that point yet" Kassiopeia said as she leaned back in her chair.
