Chapter 35

A day after the tussle with his mom, Min-Jun felt it necessary to treat Alexis to something special, to apologize for what had transpired. He told Alexis to get ready as he would be collecting her. On his way to the girls apartment, he dialled Suk-Chin and told him to meet him there.

"I'm a bit busy right now. Can this wait until later?" said Suk-Chin.

"No, it cannot." Responded Min-Jun.

Before Suk-Chin had the chance to protest, Min-Jun ended the call.
After arriving at the apartment and with everyone present, Min-Jun cleared his throat.

"Today, I will be escorting my lady out, and I do not wish for any disturbances. Hence the reason for me summoning Suk here".

Min-Jun looked over at Shanice.

"Please refain from calling us. If you do, you won't get us, as our phones will be off. If there is anything you need, feel free to use this person right here." He added as he pointed to Suk-Chin.

Alexis' eyes opened wide as she covered her mouth, stifling a laugh after hearing what Min-Jun had said.

"But what is not this. But no. Lexy yuh hear him??" Said Shanice.

Suk-Chin, who was occupied with his phone didn't give a response.

"Alright, I will take that as you both have agreed to my terms. We'll be leaving now." Said Min-Jun, taking Alexis' hand.

Before they could leave, Shanice stopped them. She rushed to the bedroom, grabbed a small bag, pulled Min-Jun aside, and handed the bag to him.

"I knew this day would come, so I made sure to get these for you. I didn't know what size to get , so I got from small to large. Use them well." She whispered.

Min-Jun looked inside the bag, becoming flustered. Inside the bag were condoms of different brands. A devious smirk arose on Shanice's lips seeing Min-Jun in this state.
Suk-Chin, who was now attentive, walked over to them, curious as to what was going on. When he saw what was happening, he tried his best to stifle a laugh.
Min-Jun looked over at Alexis, who tilted her head in confusion. His face became red, and he immediately handed the items back to Shanice.

"I don't need them!" he exclaimed in a hush voice.

"Don't you know it's rude to refuse a gift. If you don't take them, I'm going to give them to Lexy." Responded Shanice looking over at Alexis.

Min-Jun followed her gaze and started blushing even more. Because the items were in a bag, Alexis could not see them.

Min-Jun grabbed the bag and immediately left with Alexis.
After they left, the room became quiet. Suk-Chin was once again occupied with his phone. Shanice stood there for a few minutes and then spoke up.

"Hello sir, if all you're going to do is text away on your phone, do so at your own house."

Suk-Chin looked up at Shanice, then back at his phone, and he did so a few times. Seeing how indecisive he was, Shanice opened the door, pointing outside.
Seeing this, Suk-Chin placed his phone inside his pocket and walked up to Shanice, all smiles.

"What do you say we go get something to eat?"

Shanice thought about it for a minute then said no.

Suk-Chin looked at her like a sulking puppy.

"Come on, Shan Shan, it's my treat. Pleeeeeeease, I could use the company." He said in a sickly sweet tone while holding on to Shanice's hand.

Shanice swiftly pulled her hand away.
