Ishq Ki Kahani (#1)

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hello everyone,

I want to discuss two extremely important things in this notice. It will take highest ten minutes to read it so please do and before that just a little appreciation for all of you.

1) APPRECIATION

I can't thank you all enough for the immense love each of you have shown me. As I already mentioned in my Instagram - I started writing this as a joke during my summer vacation. My goal was 1K reads not even lying, but we have reached the milestone of 1M Reads and its overwhelming. To everyone who gave this book a chance I genuinely appreciate it. I'm more of a Math student than an English student so I never even thought about writing or thought of pursuing it but now I can say I'm glad I did. I don't know how much justice I'm doing to the scenes because I'm no professional because when I read other books I can compare that my scenes probably can't make you feel that deep but nevertheless you all showered it with love. Also special thanks to the 7 fanpages you guys have created on Instagram. Thank You

2) CHARACTERS

A- Addressing Confusion.

The characters in my story are Muslim I think its clear by their names. No not everyone wears hijab- so kindly stop asking why don't they wear hijab. Not everyone is very religious. ITS A FICTION STORY- SO IF YOU WANT TO JUDGE THEM I THINK THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOU. I haven't mentioned what country they are from so you're free to imagine whatever you want afterall its fiction. If you're still concerned about their religion- just know in real life such people do exist. The social circle I come from is very much like this so a writer definitely puts things from their own experience. If you still want to judge then remember you're reading Wattpad in the first place. Lastly, no hate will be tolerated. If you don't like it just don't read it.

B- Addressing some pov from the writer's view

Alizeh and Zain:

In the last chapter, many of you wanted Zain to grovel very soon. But, when I write scenes I try my best to make their emotions as real as possible. He does regret for behaving like that with Alizeh but I don't want to write his character as I see in most books where the male lead messes up then grovels and gets back the girl. In reality things are more complex, his character is an introvert who struggles in handling his emotions due to his insecurities which he can't even share. I don't want them where he gets the girl she fixes him, please my female leads are more than that. Fixing a boy is not a girl's job. A person can fight their inner demons only by themselves, the only thing someone else can do is stay with them. So if you're expecting him to grovel in next 2-3 chapters that's not happening and I just gave the reason why. He needs to resolve his feelings and trauma first then win back his girl.

C- Screentime

I try to do justice to all the couples- it's a multicouple story. But I give screentime according to the storyline as I have mentioned. Some couple have shorter less problematic storyline hence less screen time. Some have more need of it hence more screen time. But if you read the book after I finish it in a go- you will see it's balanced because the couple which had more screen time before will need less in the future and couples which were growing before will need more screen time now. So just trust the story.

3) UPDATES
A) As a student sitting for their board exams I have a hectic schedule so from now on there will be no fixed update. Most likely I won't be updating for the next three months regularly. Maybe one or two chapters whenever I can during these months. Please be patient and don't pester me asking when I will update. I will update when I can because my academic commitments will always come before this. I will try posting one chapter a week but if I can't just stay patient.

I might post reels on my Instagram because it takes 10 minutes highest for me to make a reel and if I don't post on Instagram my reach is going to drop. So don't question either why I'm posting reels not chapters. It takes days to write a chapter.

B) I wanted to start the earlier update paid reading method which most writers here already do. In this, I will be posting one chapter on Wattpad in a week while the next two chapters will be available on a website called StrollStack for paid readers. But as I can't update regularly I have kept it on hold. Whenever I pursue this, I will let you know in my message board.

C) Lastly even if target votes are completed I might not update the next chapter because I haven't written it probably. Or if I did as I already mentioned, one chapter a week. So don't ask me again why are vote target increasing, there are about 21k reads in a chapter but 3K votes which I think is very minimum and achievable.
