i woke up before janae today.

my shoulder wound started bleeding a little too much when i was sleep so i got up and changed it, taking my medication for the pain.

ashanti called me, making me scrunch my face up.

i answered the facetime call.

she was laid in bed, showing me the tiny foot that poked through her stomach.

"look at auntie babyyyy." i swooned.

"this shit hurt. she moving too much." ashanti grunted, making me laugh.

"her head look big as shit in that sonogram."

jace laughed, making ashanti glare at him.

"the fuck funny?" she mugged at him.

"you been being so mean to him." i laughed.

"exactly." jace said.

"cause! he got me pregnant now i'm stuck up in here gaining weight 'cause he wanna keep feeding somebody."

"so you wanna starve?" he asked.

"bye jace, just bye." she rolled her eyes.

"when her due date?" i asked.

it was currently october and i think ashanti's around 32 weeks now.

"march 23." ashanti sighed.

i grimaced.

"ew she an aries? she not my niece no more." i shook my head.

although i don't fully believe in astrology determining someone's life and personality, there are some aspects to it that are true.

our whole group dynamic is interesting in a way.

janae is a taurus, i'm a cancer, ashanti is a sagittarius, jace is a libra, lashay is a gemini, jakobi is a leo, kyra is a scorpio, shamari is a virgo and tenai's a leo too.

interesting group if i say so myself.

"have y'all came up with any names?" i asked.

jace came in the camera smiling.

"no, she don't like my ideas." jace shrugged.

"bruh i just want my daughter to have a name that stands out. not no basic shit but not no weird shit either." ashanti said.

"ask janae then. she's good with names." jace suggested.

"janae good with what?" janae said, walking in the bathroom tiredly and wrapping her arms around my waist, resting her head on my shoulder.

"don't be popping up like that! what if i was shitting?" i mugged.

janae shrugged.

"ain't nun' new." she said.

"can you help us with some baby names, nae?" ashanti asked.

"all the ones i know are dominican. or some shit you ain't never heard of." janae said.

"that's what i want! something cute but rare."

janae nodded.

"first name or middle?" she asked.

"first for right now."

"i'll send you some."

"what's your middle name?" jace asked.

"that's so pretty." ashanti swooned.

"what about your sisters?" jace asked.
