After the council meeting, Liv returned to her room eager to dive back into her book and attend to Tepig's needs. Retrieving Tepig's Poké Ball from her pocket, she called out, "Come on out, Tepig.""Tepig!" the Pokémon exclaimed, appearing before her."Feeling hungry, Tepig?" Liv inquired, noticing the excitement in Tepig's demeanor. Tepig nodded vigorously in response.Liv approached her dresser where her bag lay, retrieving a bowl she had prepared earlier filled with Pokémon food. She placed it on the floor, allowing Tepig to start eating. As Tepig indulged in its meal, Liv settled onto her bed, opening her book to where she left off. The tranquility of the moment enveloped the room. After finishing its food, Tepig bounded onto the bed, taking a seat beside Liv.After a while, there was a knock at the door. "Quick, Tepig, return," said Liv, hurriedly recalling her Pokémon. "Yes, come in," she called out. The door creaked open, and Arwen entered the room, her expression curious."How was the council meeting?" asked Arwen as she settled onto the bed."Other than all the noise, it was good," Liv replied with a sigh. "Noise couldn't have been that bad," remarked Arwen, raising an eyebrow."Everyone was arguing with each other," Liv explained, shaking her head. Arwen noticed the book in Liv's hands."You're reading again?" Arwen inquired, nodding towards the book."Yeah," Liv replied with a smile, holding up the book for Arwen to see."Is that the same book you were reading earlier?" Arwen asked, leaning in with interest."Yes," Liv confirmed, flipping through the pages. "What's the book about?" Arwen inquired, genuinely intrigued."Well, it's basically about these two siblings who have a magic mirror in their basement. Every time they open a new book, they get sucked into a different fairy tale," Liv explained, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm."So, it's a series then?" Arwen deduced, crossing her legs on the bed."Yes," Liv confirmed, adjusting her grip on the book. "So, what fairy tale do they get sucked into in this book?" Arwen asked, leaning closer."Sleeping Beauty," Liv replied, smiling. "I remember that story from when I was a child. My father used to read it to me," reminisced Arwen, a hint of nostalgia in her voice. After a while, a servant interrupted their conversation, entering the room quietly. "Lady Arwen, your father wishes to speak with you," the servant announced with a bow."I'm sorry, Liv. I have to go speak to my father. We can talk later," Arwen apologized, rising from the bed.

After Arwen left the room, there was another knock at the door. "Yes, come in," said Liv without looking up. The door opened, and Legolas walked in. "I hope you don't mind me coming to your room," he said."I don't mind at all," Liv replied with a smile."I'm Legolas, by the way," he introduced himself."I'm Liv," she replied in kind.Legolas, noticing the book in her hand, asked, "You like reading?""Yeah, I love it," Liv replied. "This one's called 'Whatever After.'""Never heard of it. Is it any good?" Legolas inquired, sitting at the edge of the bed."Yeah, it's really good. I read it back in school when I was in 3rd grade," Liv explained."What's it about?" Legolas asked, genuinely curious."Well, there are these two siblings who have a magic mirror in their basement that sucks them into different fairy tales whenever they hit it three times," Liv described."Which fairy tale do they get sucked into?" Legolas asked, leaning in with interest."Sleeping Beauty," Liv replied."Ah, I see. There was actually a movie made based on the original fairy tale. You do know what a movie is, right?" Liv teased playfully."Of course, I've watched movies with my parents when I was a child," Legolas chuckled."I would like to watch Sleeping Beauty one day," Legolas admitted."My grandmother has it on DVD," Liv offered. The two of them continued to talk about books until they were called to join the rest of the Fellowship to discuss their plans for destroying the ring.

When Liv and Legolas entered the meeting room, Gandalf initiated a discussion about the quickest route to Mordor. "That won't work," Liv interjected. Gandalf inquired, "What do you mean?" "It's too complicated to explain. Does anyone have a map?" Liv asked. "I believe I have a map around here somewhere," Lord Elrond offered. "Ah, here it is," he said, handing Liv the map. "Thank you," Liv replied. "So, we're currently in Rivendell. If we take the Gap of Rohan, we'll reach our destination faster," Liv suggested. "And what would a mere child know of this?" Boromir scoffed. Liv retorted, "For your information, I've studied the map of Middle Earth extensively, so I know the fastest way to get to Mordor." Gandalf intervened, "Yes, Liv is correct. Taking the Gap of Rohan will indeed save us time." Liv smiled appreciatively at the wizard.Aragorn looked surprised that Liv knew so much. Liv was in a corner talking to Legolas. "Legolas, do you mind if I speak to Liv for a minute?" asked Aragorn. "Not at all," Legolas replied. "I'll come find you later," said Legolas. Liv nodded and turned to Aragorn. "You said you wanted to talk to me?" asked Liv. "Yes, I wanted to ask you how you know so much about the ring," asked Aragorn. "Well, I've read about it, so I know the fastest way to Mordor," Liv replied. "I'm Aragorn. I should have introduced myself at the beginning," said Aragorn. "No worries," Liv replied. "I apologize for the way Boromir spoke to you," said Aragorn. "Don't worry about it. I deal with comments like that all the time, so it doesn't bother me," Liv replied. "Lord Elrond was right when he said you are a strategist," said Aragorn. "Can I ask you something?" he asked. "Of course," Liv replied. "How did you come up with that strategy on the spot?" asked Aragorn. "Well, I used to play competitive soccer, and I was captain as well as a strategist, so I kind of had to come up with strategies on the spot," Liv replied. "That's interesting. How long did you play soccer for?" asked Aragorn. "Two, three years," Liv replied. "Maybe you could show us your skills," said Aragorn. "That's something I would like to see," said Gimli. "Oh, sorry, I did not mean to interrupt," said Gimli. "No worries," said Liv. "I'm Gimli, by the way," he said. "I'm Liv," she replied. Just then, Liv's iPod touch went off. "Oh, sorry, I thought I had it on vibrate," said Liv, putting her iPod on vibrate. All of a sudden, they heard a loud bang. Everyone ran to the source of the sound and were surprised to see the four hobbits listening in on the conversation. Gandalf scolded them. "What have you four gotten yourselves into now?" asked Gandalf. "We were not doing anything," said Merry. "We were eavesdropping," said Pippin. "Really, Pip, did you have to expose us?" asked Merry. "What? I don't like lying," said Pippin. Liv laughed and bent down to their level. "I don't like lying either, but sometimes you have to lie to protect the people you care about," said Liv. "Wait a minute, you're the girl who is the strategist," said Merry. "Yeah, I'm Liv," she said. "Well, it was nice meeting all of you, but I should really get to bed. If I don't get my eight hours, I will be in a bad mood," said Liv, glaring at Boromir.Back in her room, Liv put on the pajamas she had brought with her. Then, she went into the bathroom to fix her hair. When she was done, she took out the stuffed dog she had in her bag and got into bed. Before falling asleep, she brought Tepig out of his Poké Ball. Tepig jumped onto the bed and cuddled with her, and both of them fell into a deep sleep.
