Evie's pov

The sound of groaning awoke me from my peaceful sleep. I let out a frustrated breath... this was the third time this week that I was awakening to these sounds and I new exactly where it was coming from.

The guys who's apartment is next to mine keeps bringing different women over and yes that doesn't bother me what does bother me is the fact that their so loud but thank god tomorrow I'll be moving into a new apartment

The best part about this apartment is the fact that it'll just be me which means no neighbors no nothing.

The next morning I woke up to a loud knock on the door, slowly stumbling out of bed straight for the door I swung it open to reveal my to best friends Sofia and Tiffany who screamed my ear off that I was finally moving out of her shabby apartment and lousy wh~re of a neighbor, I felt the need to shush Tiffany all the neighbor would hear but Sofia just shouted louder "what he should know he keeps inviting stds over to his house "she shrugged.

"Where would you like me to put these boxes" Tiffany asked, just put them in the car the movers will be here for the rest I responded.After the little morning fiasco we had breakfast and begun packing the rest of my stuff I had to make sure I would be settled before work on Monday,today was Saturday and I had a lot of stuff which meant my weekend would be spent unpacking.

I spent the rest of my day unpacking and arranging my apartment.the living room, the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and balcony were all set up.

I love my new apartment it was so homey and Cousy.After I was done setting up the apartment I had just enough time to whip up something to eat and finish off some documents for work tomorrow.

Two hours into checking the finance documents my stomach growled which meant it was now time for me to make something to eat, walking down the stairs to the kitchen I had just remembered that I did not stock up the kitchen so I had to run out to the grocery store.

I did use my car even if the grocery store was was in walking distance I was not going to walk down the street with all those bags in my hands plus I didn't know this neighborhood well even if it's safe for all I know I could get mugged.

I was strolling down the store lanes picking up different items, tonight I was going to be making lasagna and tiramisu for dessert. "So I have pasta, sauce, beef, mince, cocoa, ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, espresso, rum, sugar and eggs" I ticked off my list as picked different items I needed for my new home and that was just a quarter of my list.

"This is going to be a long night " I said out loud as I put ice cream into my trolley, as I filled my car with grocery I thought back to the information Jeffrey said Friday afternoon

Flashback
I had just got back from lunch to find the office in shambles, everyone was moving up and down and I couldn't help but wonder what happened while I was on my lunch break so I called Jeffrey one of my colleagues and friends to my office.

"You wanted to see me" Jeffrey said. "Yes I wanted to know what the hell is going on here."
"Yes I wanted to know what the hell happened here while I was on my lunch break"
"You didn't hear the news about the CEO's return."
"What I was on my lunch break for 30 minutes and big news comes when I'm gone."
"They said he would be in on Monday morning."
End of flashback

After having dinner and finishing up my work I went straight to bed after my relaxing bath.
