I still want her

Felix's pov

         I watched as she walked out the restaurant his hand on her back his other holding her hand made me want to yank it off. I saw them when the first walked into the restaurant I was having lunch with Stella one of the daughters of our business partners my dad is the one who made me do that his talking about how I must make sure she is pleased. So far I hated it her bubbly nature would be appealing to others but to me there was just something off about it.

I turned back to look at her, her eyes where focused somewhere else her facial expression looked murderous she turned towards me and her expression changed so quickly I would have missed it if I didn't see her previous expression. "I was wondering would you like to attend the annual ball with me" she asked "isn't that like that eight months away" I asked confused "yes but you never know what can happen plus you know they've already started preparing for the ball.

After having lunch with Ms Rostov I went back to my office and took a look at some of the files and plans for the new brunch in Spain I had to make sure everything was perfect the opening wasn't until September and considering we were still in February I had quite some time. Hours later I head out of my office everyone had already left so I doubt anyone would be here.

I walked towards my car when the sound of laughing caught my attention I turned around to see evie and Jeff laughing about god knows whatever, I really didn't have time for this she told she didn't want a relationship with me so I won't pay attention to the things she does. I got in my car slamming the door driving fast by them as I saw her watching as drove by her. An hour forty five minutes later I was home, my home outside the city I know it's quite the journey but I need to clear my head and nature really helps me

I took a shower before getting started on my dinner I made a simple dish of paneer tikka with a salad. I was now lying in my bed thinking about the events of today, Friday when I had her in my arms the feeling I got from holding her as she slept in my arms her light snores her hand resting on my chest where my heart lies. I've never felt this way about anyone, I wiped my hands over my face trying my best to get it together but when it comes to her I can't.

I woke up the next morning with a light headache, I got ready before heading to the office I went for the elevator when I saw it closing I quickly got in before it shut when I turned to acknowledge the person in here it was evie tension thick in the air she kept her distance and I hated it so much I wanted her by me all the time I wanted her to feel like my second skin, the elevator started climbing each number passed was an opportunity missed 1,2,3,4 she got off at the 10th floor.

I quickly hit the emergency exit "what are you doing" her beautiful voice questioned, "doing what I should have done from the beginning" I said moving closer to her as she moved back into the corner of the elevator "listen evie I want to be with you and I should have been clear from the beginning i want all of you I don't care about this employee-boss situation what I care about is you but if you still don't want to be with me I'll do my best to understand." I concluded as my arms caged her and her pretty eyes stared into mine.

Waiting for her answer was torture she seemed to be in deep thought "I- I want to be with you too" her voice wavered a little, to say I was happy was an understatement I was ecstatic I couldn't believe she said yes "but no one in the office can know" she added her finger on my chest, I took her hand "no one" I said kissing her knuckles.

I press the emergency button again and we are off I turn to look at her grabbing her chin and kissing her lips before she has to leave it felt surreal her lips on mine soft and subtle movements. I watched her walk out of the elevator before going up to my office.
