Nicks pov
me and max have been hanging out all day first we went to the park and watched some kids run around then we went to the mall and we picked out something for each other and now we're walking home it's cold-ish in Boston and I'm have my arms crossed over my body since I forgot a hoodie max looks at me and stops talking

He goes in front of me and makes me stop walking I look up at him and he smiles (he's only like 2 inches taller) "you cold?" He says softly as he runs his fingers up and down my jaw gently nod as my cheeks flush redder then they were from the cold he chuckles softly taking his backpack off and rummaging through it pulling hoodie out "I brought you a extra one I knew you'd need it" he says handing me the hoodie helping me get it on

He wraps his arms around my shoulders gently kissing my head he pulls away running his hand down my arm grabbing my hand and he starts walk again our shoulders bumping together walk to the house max's thumb rubbing the back of my hand

We get to the house and i walk into the kitchen and i say hi to marylou and we walk into my room maxs lays on the bed pulling me with him he holds me close to him and where start watching a movie i realize have a terrible headache and i feel hot and cold so i tell max "i think your sick nick i told you to bring a jacket" he says checking my temperature  "i know i just forgot i was excited to show you where i grew up"

"I know Nicky get some rest for me, hm?" he says kissing my head i nod a fall asleep

Time skip

I wake up to max shaking me "nick im gonna run to the store for some medicine i woke you up so you didnt think i abandoned you here let me know if you need anything im a text away" I smile and nod and dozes off

Maxs pov

I feel so bad for nick he has a fever and is sleeping right now matt takes me to cvs because I don't know my way around Boston I go into the store and I get some medicine and some of nicks favorite candy and a cute weighted stuffed animals I check out and go to the car and we drive home I get home and bring the bags into nicks room and set them on the bed I walk over to him and I gently kiss his head and he stirs

"I'm home Nicky and I got you some stuff" I whisper he looks at me with a tired smile I go through the bag and set the medicine on the nightstand I put the snacks on the bed and the stuffed animal I hand to nick he looks at me like he's about to cry so i immediately hug him "Nicky what's wrong?" I stroke his head "your too nice to me I love you" he sniffs I smile laying down in the bed pulling him to my chest "I love you more honey" he digs his face in my arms and he starts falling asleep

I help him take his medicine and he sleeps and I watch a movie while he sleeps peacefully knowing he's ok
