The next day, Iris woke up early with the sunlight pouring into her room. She was unaccustomed to so much light in her room and groaned, realising she wouldn't be able to sleep anymore. Deciding to just get ready for the day, she, carefully shifted a sleeping Skia away from her and got up before taking a quick shower in the shared bathroom.
Once she finished, Iris changed into her Hogwarts uniform. she liked that it was mostly black and had an elegance to it that usually isn't found in a school uniform, she felt happy that it fit her style and general aesthetic.
Iris then looked at her timetable, it read as follows:
Breakfast/Get ready: 7:30am-8:50 am
Lunch 11:45am-12:45pm
Dinner: 7:00pm-8:20pm
Go to bed between: 9:10pm-10:00pm

Iris gathered her essentials for the day: Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts books along with her equipment. Stuffing them into her bag, she slotted her wand snugly into its holster that sat beneath her short cloak. when it got colder the students were permitted to wear longer, warmer cloaks, but for now this was fine. A glance at the time indicated 6:30 AM – an hour before breakfast. Perfect.
