AVI MERIT, was not liking the capital, not at all. She wanted to go home, back to District four, where she belonged. But she knew she couldnt, becuase the capital has taking everything from her.
At the ripe age of fourteen, Avi was reaped for the 8th annual hunger games, where every year, 24 children from the districts would have their chilhood and humanity ripped away from them, treated like animals, untill they were sent to their deaths in a arena, and only one would come out. Avi so happened to be that lucky one, she wished she wasnt, becuase the torture didnt end when the games were over. It was like they were chasing her everystep she took, like it was reminding her of what she had done. She could still feel they're blood on her hands, yearning to be washed away, but no matter how hard she scrubbed. it wouldnt.
Something broke inside Avi that night in the games, and she wanted to go home, thats all she ever wanted, was to be back in district four, with her siblings, to be happy.
The games took everything from her, and it kept taking untill they're was nothing left to give.
