Steve's POV:
Me and Steve were laughing at the Andy Griffin Show on tv. He sat in my lap and I held his hands in mine.

It feels good to be free around him. Our moms are in the kitchen having a chat, laughing with each other as well.

"Steve, do you think we'll ever be free?" I whisper.

He turns and looks at me, "we're already free." He answers.

"What do you mean? If we went out holding hands or even hugging, people would get suspicious." I remind him.

"Which is why we stay in. You've got to look bright sometimes." He smiles.

Mrs. Curtis's POV:
"Steve surely looks at Soda with love." I sip my tea.

"Doesn't shut up about him either... I wish he would. Can't have the police coming after him for PDA with a male. The world isn't that nice." She glances back down as he looks up to see if we're looking.

We both look back up and they're kissing.

"So bold, boys." I murmur. They could get in serious trouble with others.

"Somethings you don't do when people are in site at all." Jana frowns.

Steve kisses Soda's neck and he giggles.

"Steven." He gasps.

"Nobody minds." Steve winks continuing to kiss his lover.
