RYUJI POV

After meeting up with Naofumi and Raphtalia, we split up again.

I made my way to the apothecary to sell some potions that Naofumi apparently made.

I wander around town until I've reached the place Naofumi told me about.

I looked at the the sign, wondering if leveling up lets me read this world's writings, but was met with disappointment

Ryuji: *sigh* I guess verbal languages are still the only things being translated

I entered the store where I was greeted by an old man.

Shop owner: welcome, how can I help you?

Ryuji: my name is Ryuji, the vassal hero. I'm here to sell some potions that Naofumi made

Shop owner: the vassal hero? Strange, the only one who sells high-quality potions is the shield hero. Are you a member of his party?

Ryuji: I am

Shop owner: hold on just a moment...

The shop owner left the counter and returned a few moments later with a grimoire.

Shop owner: take this

Ryuji: what for?

Shop owner: I have lots of relatives back in Lute village. They're the ones who asked me to help you out

Ryuji: really!?

Shop owner: it's a grimoire that contains recipes for finer medicines than the ones the shield hero makes

Ryuji: thank you very much

Shop owner: don't mention it

I began flipping through the pages, thinking that Naofumi would have a hard time learning this stuff.

Shop owner: also one more thing

Ryuji: eh?

Shop owner: the grimoire is mainly for the shield hero, but for you, I can buy those potions for a higher price
