Chapter 6

Alex's POV :

I think I'm going to pass out

I rummage through the hot mess I call clothing to find a suitable outfit for my date with Kai tonight.Specifically in 4 hours

As I emerge still empty handed I decide to do something that I promised myself that I wouldn't do...

(On the phone)

"Rae I need you're help"

"I'm on my way cupcake."

"You aren't going to ask me what I want?"

"'Course not cupcake,almost there"

"I love you more than life itself"

"I know. Love you even more"

She puts down the phone and ten minutes later there was knocking at my door. I open my door and see my best friend standing there

"Hey boo,what ya need"she says as she walks in and sits on the bed."Fashion advice" "For what" she said while starting to go through my clothes.I I chew my lip and decide what f I should tell her.

"I'm going on a date" I pause " With Kai" She stops and turns around slowly."Well why didn't you tell me!?When is it?" "In four hours" "Welk come on hunny bunny let's get a move on"She then started going through my clothes again

After an hour we finally decided on an outfit

We then do my hair and make up

"Okayyy check yourself out babe"

She spins me around and I'm shocked. I turn my head side to side as I stare at myself as if I've never seen my reflection before.I look so different.

"Rae,you are a freaking magician" I say,still in shock at the face looking at me in the mirror.As I was admiring myself there was a knock at my door .Both of my and Rae heads turn to the door

Rae kissed my cheek and said " Have fun! " I open the door and see Kai standing there with a smile lighting up his face

His eyes widened as he saw my outfit and I heard his sharp inhale of breath. "W-wow Alex" he stuttered. "You...look...you,wow." I blush as I look to the ground "Thanks Kai,that means a lot"

"Let's go then 아름다운"(beautiful) I take his hand and we head out.As we enter the lobby we see a man yelling at a bunch of poor employees.
Kai tenses as he takes in the scene. " Is everything okay?" He nods and says " Yeah,yeah everything's fine 천사" (angel )

Just as we were going out the door,voice yelled out behind us. "카이 대체 어디로 가는 거야?" (Kai,where on earth are you going?) Kai tipped his head back and groaned.Turning around he said "상관없어" (Doesn't matter) I turn around as well and see the man that was yelling at the employees.

Now that he was closer I can see that he's in his late fifties.He had peppered black hair and was quite tall.But what really shocked me was his stormy grey eyes that are identical to Kai's.

They land on me and freeze,then narrow. "카이! 도대체 이게 누구야?" (Kai! Who the hell is this?) I hear Kai take a deep breath and say "아버지, this is Alex,my date."(Father) "Alex,this is my father,Mr.Ian Parks"
