Love Hotel

Chapter 14

Alex's POV:

It's been a month since Kai and I have officially started dating and it's been heaven. Kai has been  treating better than I could have ever imagined. We've gone on a bunch of dates and he has been the model gentlemen.

The best thing about it is he doesn't take me on big flashy dates. Every date that we have been on have been so beautifully intimate, its always been just the two of us. Whether it's dinner at a small diner or sandwiches on a park bench in the middle of the day. 

Right now I'm getting ready for one of our dates. Kai didn't tell me where we were going tonight. All he told me was to dress comfy.

I don't really know what that entails but I'm kinda excited.

After Im finished getting ready I realise that I still have half an hour until our date, so I sit down and watch something random on TV

Kai's POV:

I'm done

I'm bloody done

About a month ago, I got a call from my father saying that he heard from a classified source that I had a girlfriend.I had no doubt that the classified source was Mingi. She must have taken the information she received at the coffee shop and skipped right to my father's office and whine and cry that her 'fiancé' is being stolen away with her. 

I shiver at the thought of being in an actual, committed relationship with Mingi, let alone getting married  to her. Now Im being borderline harassed by the pair of them. I'm getting daily phone calls  from both my father and Mingi asking if I had 'come to my senses yet'.

I pick up my phone and  see the time. I've go to pick up Alex for our date.Just the thought of seeing her again has even bit of tension leaving my body.I know that we have only known each other for a little over a month but I just look forward to seeing her every minute. On the way to Alex's hotel I stop at a little shop to buy her some flowers.

I have something really special planned to night.

Alex's POV

I'm pulled from my TV show by a knock at the door.I stand up and swing the door open and there was Kai with a beaming smile on his face and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers in his hands.I mimic is smile and kiss his cheek "Hi". He brings me into his arms and kiss the crown of my head. "Hi" We pull apart and I take the flowers from his hands and put it in a vase on the dresser. 

"Ready to go?" Kai says and I nod and take his hand, the smile never leaving my face.We walk down his car, and he opened the door and guided me in. He then closed the door and went to the driver side, got in and started up the car.

We drove for a little while until we reached the beach and I started jumping in my seat.Being born and raised in Johannesburg,South Africa, we never were able to go to the beach often at all.

I go to open my door but Kai's hand shoots out and stops me.I look at him confused and he playfully glares at me."What did I tell you about opening doors for yourself?" I smirk at him and say "Not to" "Exactly, then why did you?" I shrug. He shook his head with a smile and got out to open my door.

As soon as the door was open I jumped out of the car and ran onto the sand and spun around.When I had stop I saw Kai looking at me with a soft smile.When I look at his hand I see a bundle. "What's that?" I asked breathless. He looked down and said "It's swim suits and towels."

I cock my head in confusion. "How the hell did you get one of my swim suits?" He gave a shy smile and said "I found out your size from Rae and bought it yesterday" I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. He grabbed my waist and deepened the kiss. I pulled away and he groaned.I giggled and kissed his cheek.

He gave me my swim suit and told me to go change. I took it from his veiny hands and went to the change rooms. I loved the swim suit

I walk out and see Kai standing away from me. I walk up to him and wrap my arms around him. He turned around and wraps his arms around my waist. He stopped abruptly and his eyes widen. His mouth opens, then closes, then opens again "W-wow angel, you look...wow" He says breathlessly. I blush and he takes my lips with his.

We pulled away after a minute and just stared into each others eyes. Kai's eyes widen again as I lean up on my tip toes and whisper into his ear, "First one to the water is a rotten egg" and then I bolt out of his arms straight to the water.

After a few seconds I hear his faint running steps following me. I go faster but all of a sudden strong arms wrap around my waist and lift me up, spinning me around.I laugh loudly and throw my head back. Then suddenly I was falling before I was caught. I look up and see Kai's smiling and sweaty. He leaned down to my face and said "I win"

I laugh and put my arms around his neck.My laughs turned into a yelps Kai started walking.And then the traitorous man holding me in his arms threw me into the water.

Yep, you heard me. Kai Parks, my so called 'boyfriend', threw me into the water at the beach.

I break the surface and see Kai doubled over with laughter. I glare at him and cup my hands to splash him. He instantly stops laughing and splashes me back. I yelp and then for the next fifteen minutes we go back and forth splashing each other.

Eventually, we exit the water, stomachs sore from laughing and I flop down on my towel while Kai picked up his towel and dried himself off before sitting down next to me.I shuffled over and put my head on his shoulder.

"Kai" He hummed to show he was listening. "Can you say something to me in Korean?" He thought for a second before saying "나는 당신이 상상할 수 있는 것보다 더 당신을 사랑합니다" "And what does that mean?" "I'm really glad I went to the hotel that day."

(Actual translation: I love you more than you can ever imagine)

After talking for a while we decided to head back home and that night I went to sleep with a smile on my face and one thought on my mind

I was really glad that I went to the hotel that day to.
