"And then I was thinking we could-" I was cut off by a scream coming from my right. I look to my right and see Rae, eyes wide and leaning back as if she was fearing for her life.I looked around us and saw everyone else milling around us.We were dress shopping for the gala in a week.It turns out that Ming was from a wealthy family as well so that means that Rae has to get a dress too.
I was relieved when I had heard that she was coming. As much as I love spending time with Kai, I'm almost positive that he is going to be swamped by people from the research I did and my social battery is not up for that. So at least I could spend time with her then.
I look over at Rae and she's still in the. same position as before. "Rae? What's wrong?" "Alex, back away, slowly" Rae said softly as she started backing up.I turn to face her and look at her, confused beyond measure."What's happening" Rae look at me and whispered "There". She points in front of us and I look and see she's pointing at a flock of -
"Pigeons?" I squint at her as she nods. "You're afraid of ...pigeons" I say slowly. She scowled at me as she whisper-yells, "Yes,I'm afraid pigeons." I try to stifle a laugh and she scowls harder at me. "Alex. Rachel. Vada. You better swallow that laugh" A small giggle slips out and I say "Let's just go in you weirdo"
She pouts but follows me inside anyway. I laugh loop my arm through hers as we went into the mall.Kai had given me all the money I would need. He wanted to come with us but Rae shooed him away. Knowing that he would loose, he didn't argue but instead gave me a long and passionate kiss before Rae dragged me away to the car, just like she is dragging me into the first store.

That's how many stores we have been too. 7. Freaking. Stores. With my feet aching, I rifle through the rack of gorgeous dresses when Rae pops up beside me with big grin on her face. "Alex, I have the most perfect dress for you." She shoves a blue wad of fabric into my arms. "It's beautiful." I say, holding it up. "Yes it is. Now go try it on." She says leading me to the dressing room.
When I came out her eyes lit up like a kid seeing a puppy. "I was right. It's perfect" She whispers in awe, and when I look at myself in the mirror, I can't help but agree with her. I love the dress. I cannot describe it.

After about a half an hour more, Rae found her dress and when I saw it, not going to lie but I got a little jealous.

We then paid for our dresses, got something to eat and went over to Rae's home. We were talking when the boys came in. Kai gave me a kiss on the forehead and sat next to me and put his arm around me and gave me a little squeeze.
Ming did the same to Rae and we talked for a couple hours.At about six, Kai and I decided to go home. After Kai started the car he put his hand on my thigh and butterflies blossomed in my stomach.A comfortable silence enveloped us on the way home. "Kai?" He hums in acknowledgment and rubs my thigh.
I blush and say "Can I stay the night?" He smiles softly and says "Of course, we'll just go over to your hotel to getting some clothes." I nodded in agreement. We pulled up to my hotel in no time and he stood in the doorway as I packed my bag.
"Ready?" He asked, I nodded and we went over to his place. When we got there we both showered and got dressed into pyjamas. We then cuddled up to watched movies. Halfway through one movie I felt lips on my neck. I turned my head and Kai's lips were on my lips in an instant.
The kiss was anything but sweet and slow. He cupped the back of my head and he leaned me back onto the couch as he hovered over me, still kissing me just as, maybe even more, passionately. We kissed and kissed, hot and fast. We pull apart, panting and flushed.
He gave me one last peck before saying, "You want something to eat?" I playfully scowled at him and he chuckled softly and kissed my cheek.
