"What's the matter, Boongi?" Taehyung curiously eyes Boongi, when the blob stops following them and starts looking around as they wiggles their tentacles in the air, like they were looking for someone they knew.
The blob couldn't be mistaken, they're a hundred percent sure that that was the witch's voice— Jimin's.
But why was the blob not finding him even after squinting its eyes and using its tentacles like a radar in the crowd to search for him?
Meanwhile, Yoongi, who was busy doing his daily work together with Namjoon suddenly stopped reading the scroll he was holding.
What was that? He heard a familiar laugh which surely, Boongi was sharing to him and he felt goosebumps all through out his body.
"Hyung?"
Yoongi shook his head and ignored what Boongi had just tried to informed him on.
"It's not about the clothes you will be wearing tomorrow night that you're worrying about, am I right?" asks Minhyun, eyeing Jimin, who were looking at the charms Sera picked up for him to see.
"N-No! It's not that. I mean, kind of. All those clothes we had checked, they're all pretty but I think those clothes are a bit too much for someone like me," he explained, shyly.
Sera gasped.
"What do you mean, hyung? The clothes are pretty; You are pretty! I don't see where the problem is."
"Maybe I'm just not used to wearing fancy clothes. Besides, I don't think fancy clothes will matter if I do not do my best to perform well to the King's liking,"
Minhyun nods, "I guess, I do get where you're coming from. This is also going be our first to be able to perform at the Palace, in front of the King, all thanks to you Jimin so I'm also nervous to make a mistake rather than what I would look like in front of him. But I think it's not a bad thing to dress something fancy once in awhile especially since tomorrow is the festival. I, and the rest would love to see you in a different light. You know what I mean."
Sera clapped her hands in excitement.
"So are we going to pick your clothes now for tomorrow, hyung? I think I might have already seen something that will suit you the best!"
"Then what are we waiting for?"
As soon as Jimin was pulled to the other side of the street by Minhyun and Sera, Taehyung and Jin stood where the three just left off.
"Is there anything else that we're supposed to buy?" asks Jin, holding a couple of his parcels wrapped in a silk cloth that acts like paper or some could call it a shopping bag. They just spent three hours at the market looking for things they could use for tomorrow's festival. Mainly are accessories.
The area where they shop is kind of far from the Palace but somehow they like it best here for some reason to rome around.
"I think I'm all good too," Taehyung replied.
"Then let's head back. My brother might start looking for us if we stay here a bit longer than he anticipates," says Jin, laughing.
"Ah, hyung! Stop using the King as an excuse. We all know you just want to go back as soon as you can so that Namjoon hyung won't get worried if he tries to look for you."
"Tae!" Jin pouts, "I hate that you're right though."
They were about to leave when they noticed Boongi's acting weird again similar from earlier. They kept turning left and right, like they were anxiously looking for someone who isn't with them.
In turn, Taehyung also did the same. Thinking there must be something that the blob is seeing or sensing that they don't but in the end, he wasn't able to find anything or anyone the blob was trying to search through the crowd.
However his gut feeling from Boongi's odd behavior never went away, even after they reached back to the Palace so, he did the best he could think of doing.
Taehyung scratches his head.
It showed up again.
Again.
But this time, it was a little different. The part of the kingdom being on the verge of its downfall was no longer being mentioned but of the King and the Witch's meeting remains on the scenery the dice was showing to him.
Oh, wait...
His eyes widened in realization.
He remembered the conversation they all had months ago and what Jungkook insisted, about the possibility of the witch being alive.
Why of course, it could really be a possibility but not just a hundred percent reality. After all, said witch was able to summon a portal spell even when his body was in the verge of breaking and yet, the witch was able to do the spell without a miss.
Then that means...
What if Jungkook was right all along? What if the witch was still alive and was just hiding after saving them from Kai and his six witches? To spare his life from being killed by Yoongi?
Because... right. Right. Exactly!
Why didn't he realised it sooner?
Boongi, the blob, whose ninety-nine percent of the time aloof to people, only showed their loyalty and clinginess to Yoongi, had choosen to stand beside the mysterious, orange witch during the battle. Ignored its master's presence. Even helped said witch to keep the enemies in place while he draw the symbol of the portal spell onto the ground to send them all back to Erebos.
Right. Maybe there's something about the witch that only Boongi could see or feel and it shouldn't be a surprise to him really, if the reason why the Blob was acting strange earlier was because he could feel the witch's presence nearby.
Which in fact, was true.
A sudden thrilling feeling enveloped Taehyung and he couldn't help but to feel excited on the fact that the witch, Jimin, might show up again anytime soon at the Palace grounds.
What he did miss though, was the fact that the second meeting will happen tomorrow at the night of the festival. The night wherein the lanterns, the whole Leukos itself, will resemble the fiery, orange hair of the witch.
